In the 1st r. = out. row after the edge, start with 1 front loop. Then go to the knitting needles No. 4 and knit the strips with a patent rubber band in the indicated sequence, starting from the 2nd p. scheme. After 22 (25) cm = 98 (110) p. from the elastic close on both sides for armholes 1 p., then in each 2nd p. 5 more times 1 p. = 69 (75) p. After 15 (16) cm = 68 (72) p. from the beginning of the armhole, close the middle 23 sts for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the cutout, close from the inner edge in every 2nd p. 1 time 4 p. and 1 time 2 p. After 2 cm = 8 p. from the beginning of the cutout, close the remaining 17 (20) p. of the shoulder. Finish the other side symmetrically.

Before: knit like a back, but with a deeper neck. To do this, after 12 (13) cm = 54 (58) p. from the beginning of the armhole, close the middle 17 p. And finish both sides separately. To round the cutout, close from the inner edge in every 2nd p. 1 time 3 p., 2 times 2 p. and 2 times 1 p. Close the shoulder loops from the outer edge at the same height as on the back. Finish the other side symmetrically.

Sleeves: type on knitting needles No. 3 with a white thread 41 p. And knit the following stripes with an elastic band: 3 p. white, 2 p. beige, white, beige and white. In the 1st r. = out. row after the edge, start with 1 front loop. Then go to the knitting needles No. 4 and knit the strips with a patent rubber band in the indicated sequence, starting from the 2nd p. scheme. For bevels, add on both sides in the 9th p. from gum 1 p., then 12 (14) times in each 8th p. 1 more p. = 67 (71) p. The added loops are sequentially included on both sides in the patent gum pattern. After 28 (31) cm = 124 (136) p. close from the elastic band on both sides for the upper bevels, 1 p., then in each 2nd p. 5 more times, 1 p. After 3 cm = 14 p. from the beginning of the upper bevels close the remaining 55 (59) loops.

Assembly: pin the details on the pattern, moisten and leave to dry. Run seams. On the edge of the neckline, cast on circular knitting needles with white thread 86 p. Knit in a circle with an elastic band, continuing where possible with a patent elastic band. After 3 white rows, knit another 2 p. beige, white, beige and white. Then loosely close the loops according to the pattern. Sew on the sleeves.

Description of knitting a sweater

Back

Cast on 67 (71, 77) sts on needles and for plank work 12.5 cm in pattern 1 in rows forward and backward. Continue with pattern 3.

For an elongated shoulder line, after 16 cm = 48 rows (17 cm = 50 rows, 18 cm = 54 rows) from the strap, add 1 loop on both sides, then in each 2nd row 2 times 1 loop and in each 4th row 11 times 1 loop (in each 4th row 13 times 1 loop; in each 4th row 13 times 1 loop) in the pattern = 95 (99, 105) loops.

After 33.5 cm = 100 rows (35.5 cm = 106 rows; 37.5 cm = 112 rows) from the strap, close for the shoulder bevel on both sides 1 time 2 loops, then in each 2nd row close 5 times 2 loops and 5 times 3 loops (4 times 2 loops and 6 times 3 loops; 3 times 2 loops and 7 times 3 loops).

After 40.5 cm = 122 rows (42.5 cm = 128 rows; 44.5 cm = 134 rows) from the strap, close the remaining 41 (43, 47) loops.

At the same time, the middle 35 (37, 41) loops form the neck, the outer 3 loops each form the shoulders.

Front end

Knit like a back, but after 5.5 cm = 106 rows (37.5 cm = 112 rows; 39.5 cm = 118 rows) from the strap, close the middle 15 (17, 21) loops for the neck and finish both sides separately.

For rounding on the inner edge, close in each 2nd row 1 time 3 loops, 1 time 2 loops and 5 times 1 loop. At the height of the back, all the loops have been used up.

Sleeves

Start with a cross bar: dial 13 loops on the knitting needles and knit with a pattern 2.

After 30 (32, 35) cm from the initial row, close all the loops according to the pattern. For the upper part of the sleeve, cast on the knitting needles along the left edge of the transverse bar 53 (57, 61) loop and knit with pattern 3.

At the same time, add for the bevel of the sleeves on both sides in each 6th row 3 times 1 loop in the pattern = 59 (63, 67) loops.

After 11.5 cm = 34 rows from the cross bar, continue work between edge pattern 5.

After 5 cm = 15 rows from the beginning of knitting with pattern 5 in the next purl row, close all the loops as purl.

For the lower part of the sleeve, dial 67 (71, 75) loops on the knitting needles along the right edge of the transverse bar and knit with a pattern 5 between the edge bands.

After 15.5 cm = 46 rows from the transverse bar in the next front row, evenly distributing, reduce 34 loops = 33 (37, 41) loops.

Then for the placket of the sleeve, continue to work with pattern 1 in rows in the forward and reverse direction, while starting with 1 purl row. With a strap width of 7.5 cm, close all the loops according to the drawing.

Assembly

Run shoulder seams. The edge of the neckline is first knitted with 1 circular row with single crochet = 82 (88, 94) single crochet, while the circular row starts with 1 chain loop instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 connecting column in the replacement air loop.

For the outer strap of the neck, cast on circular needles from single crochets 1 loop each, while inserting the needle only behind the front wall of the loops and on all 82 (88, 94) loops, knit 3.5 cm = 11 circular rows with pattern 6. Then close all loops as purl.

For the inner collar, also cast on circular needles from single crochets 1 loop each, while inserting the needle only behind the back wall of the loops and on all 82 (88, 94) loops, first knit 1.5 cm = 4 circular rows of front ones, while in on the last round, evenly distributing, add 42 (48, 54) loops = 124 (136, 148) loops.

Continue working with pattern 1 in circular rows. After 7.5 cm from the beginning of knitting the collar, close all the loops according to the pattern. Sew on the sleeves, complete the side seams and the seams of the sleeves.

Dimensions: 36/38 (40) 42/44

You will need: yarn (48% polyester, 26% wool, 13% mohair, 8% polyacryl, 5% polyamide; 100 m / 50 g) - 400 (450) 500 g beige; knitting needles number 6 and 7; circular knitting needles number 6.

Pattern 1:(needle number 6) gum (odd number of loops). After a set of loops, start with 1 purl row: hem, alternately 1 purl, 1 facial, finish 1 purl, hem. In the front rows, knit the loops according to the pattern. Circular rows: alternately 1 facial, 1 purl.

Knit the following patterns with needles No. 7.

Pattern 2: patent gum (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 edge). Front rows: edge, * 1 patent loop (= 1 loop with 1 crochet, remove as purl), purl 3, from * constantly repeat, finish with 1 patent loop, edge. Purl rows: hem, * 1 patent loop (= knit the removed loop with a crochet together purl), 3 front, from * constantly repeat, finish with 1 patent loop, edge.

Pattern 3: pattern of "braids" (the number of loops is a multiple of 8) = knit acc. scheme. On it are given the front rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the crochets with the purl ones. Constantly repeat the rapport and the 1st-10th rows.

Underlined deductions: at the beginning of the row after the hem and at the end of the row before the hem, knit 2 loops together purl.

Pattern 4:(needles No. 6) collar pattern (the number of loops is a multiple of 4). 1st circular row: * 1 patent loop (= 1 loop with 1 crochet, remove as purl), purl 3, from * constantly repeat. 2nd circular row: 1 patent loop (= knit the removed loop with a crochet together with the front one), purl 3, from * constantly repeat. Constantly repeat the 1st and 2nd circular rows.

Knitting density: pattern 2 - 14 p. x 22 p. = 10 x 10 cm; pattern 3 - 16 p. x 20 p. = 10 x 10 cm; 32 p. pattern 3 = 20 cm.

Attention: when knitting patent loops in a knitted fabric, only every 2nd row is visible.

Back: dial 63 (67) 71 loops on the needles and knit 3 cm = 7 rows for the strap with pattern 1. Continue working with pattern 2. After 57.5 cm = 126 rows from the strap, close for the shoulder bevel on both sides 1 x 3 (4) 5 p., then in each 2nd row 1 x 3 (4) 5 p. and 2 x 3 p. After 61 cm = 134 rows from the bar close the remaining 39 p., of which the middle 31 p. 4 p. - Shoulders.

Attention: before shorter back. The side corners with the lower edge rounded up, as well as the shoulder bevels, are formed due to the diagonal arrangement of the pattern on both sides of the pattern 3. The dimensions on the front pattern are partially obtained by measuring the model.

Before: dial 71 (75) 79 loops on the needles and for the strap, knit 3 cm = 7 rows with pattern 1, while in the 1st purl row between the selvedges, start and finish 1 facial and in the last purl row in the middle add 1 loop = 72 (76) 80 p. Continue as follows: edge, 19 (21) 23 p. pattern 2, while starting and finishing with 3 purl (1 patent loop) 1 purl, 32 p. , as before, edging. For a diagonal arrangement of the pattern in each next front row, it is emphasized to decrease 1 p. on both sides, simultaneously before and after pattern 3, knit 1 front or purl crossed from the transverse thread according to. pattern and include in pattern 2. The number of loops remains unchanged! After 45 cm = 90 rows from the bar (measured in the middle), close the middle 32 loops for the neck and finish both sides separately, while continuing the rhythm of decreases and increases. After 5.5 cm = 12 rows from the beginning of knitting the neck, close the remaining 20 (22) 24 p. Shoulders.

Sleeves: Cast on 31 (35) 39 sts for each sleeve and knit 3 cm = 7 rows with pattern 1 for the strap. Continue with pattern 2. For the bevel of the sleeves, add on both sides in each 12th row from the strap 6 x 1 p. acc. pattern = 43 (47) 51 p. After 38 cm = 84 rows from the strap, close the sleeves on both sides 1 x 2 p., then in each 2nd row 8 x 1 p. After 46 cm = 102 rows from the strap leave the remaining 7 (11) 15 p.

Assembly: carry out the shoulder seams, slightly fitting the shoulder edges of the front. Cast on 64 loops on circular needles along the edge of the neckline and knit 5 cm = 12 circular rows with pattern 4 and 3 cm = 7 circular rows with pattern 1 for the collar. Then close the loops as knit ones. Sew sleeves acc. the size on the pattern, while pulling the edges of the sleeves. Run the side seams and the seams of the sleeves, slightly stretching or fitting the side edges of the front.

Hello dear knitting lovers!

Before you is a semi-patent gum with knitting needles, with which I promised to introduce you at the beginning of my investigation into the case, her “relatives” and “imposters” trying to take her place.

First, I will talk about it - the "half-breed", then the "relative" of the patent gum will follow, but the patent patterns will complete my investigation. So get ready: your mind must be clear, and your memory strong, otherwise you will get confused, how to drink!

Semi-patent (pearl) gum

I must say right away that a semi-patent elastic band is a one-sided elastic band, that is, it has both the front and the wrong side.

But these sides can still compete for the title of being called front, since both are very attractive: one is a copy of its “relative” - patent gum, only a little denser (photo attached).

The other is the daughter of her father, and he, apparently, was a very wealthy gentleman, it is not for nothing that this gum has a second name - PEARL GUM! Are you shocked? I also lived in it. What can I say - "half-breed" ...

Personally, I really liked this gum! So I am happy to share how to knit it. Cast on an EVEN number of stitches and knit:

  • in the 1st row - * 1 facial, 1 purl * - so to the end of the row;
  • in the 2nd row - * 1 facial, 1 yarn over, 1 remove * - so to the end of the row;
  • in the 3rd row - * knit a loop with a crochet together front, 1 purl *;
  • then repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows.

If you want to link pearl gum in a circle, then we knit like this:

  • 1st circle - * 1 facial, 1 purl *;
  • 2nd circle - * 1 yarn over, 1 slip, purl 1 *;
  • 3rd circle - * we knit a loop with a crochet front, 1 purl *;
  • then repeat the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I think it's not difficult. I knitted this elastic for my youngest daughter, she chose her "pearl" side.

During the investigation, I discovered a "relative" of the semi-patent (pearl) gum. Well, how could you get past it?

The “relative” of the semi-patent gum is the “young lady” is very pretty and very embossed, but ... only with one of its sides, it is better not to show the other.

And this one-sided elastic band is easy to knit. We collect the number of loops, a multiple of 3 and add 1 more loop. Next we knit:

  • in the 1st row - * 2 purl, 1 facial *, 2 purl;
  • in the 2nd row - * 2 facial, 1 yarn over, 1 remove *, 2 facial;
  • in the 3rd row - * purl 2, we knit the front loop with a crochet *, purl 2;
  • repeat the 2nd and 3rd row.

Accelerated I was to write in large letters the title FALSE PATENT GUM, in order to bring to light, first one, and then another "imposter", as promised, but decided to first tie their samples. And what do you think???

One of the so-called false rubber bands turned out to be ... , a description of which can be found by clicking on its name.

And today we will repeat what we have done by knitting the honeycomb patent pattern with knitting needles on an EVEN number of loops. So, we collect loops and knit:

  • in the 1st row - * 1 front, 1 yarn, 1 remove *;
  • in the 2nd row - * knit a loop with a crochet front, 1 yarn over, 1 remove *;
  • in the 3rd row - 1 front, * we transfer the yarn from the left knitting needle to the right, without knitting, 2 front *, we transfer the yarn, 1 front;
  • in the 4th row - * 1 crochet, 1 remove, we knit the front loop with a crochet *;
  • in the 5th row - * 2 facial, reshoot the yarn *;
  • in the 6th row - repeat the pattern from the 2nd row.

The canvas of the pattern will turn out to be plump, voluminous, as if double, so it's a good idea to use this pattern for knitting winter hats, especially for children. And it is better to knit with thick yarn, then the pattern will look more textured and embossed.

Pattern "Chess with a patent rubber band"

This is a very nice embossed patent pattern, consisting of alternating pieces of patent gum and garter stitch. I don’t know how it will look when knitting with thin threads, but it looks great on thick ones!

To knit a pattern sample, we collect a multiple of 10 number of loops plus 2 edge loops (for example, 22 loops) and then knit according to the pattern below.

Pattern scheme

plus - edge loop;

black square - front loop;

minus - purl loop;

black circle - we knit a loop together with a crochet front;

crossed out square 1 yarn over and slip 1 loop;

repeat the pattern from the 3rd to the 22nd rows.

Pattern "Unusual patent gum"

An unusual patent gum is unusual in that ... but by the way, you yourself will learn everything from the description, I can only say that this gum is one-sided.

To knit a sample of this patent pattern, you need to cast on the number of loops, a multiple of 4 plus 3 loops (23). Next we knit:

  • in the 1st (purl) row -*1 yarn over, 1 slip, knit 1*, 1 yarn over, 1 slip;
  • in the 2nd (front) row -* we knit a loop with a crochet front, 1 purl, we knit a loop with a crochet, 1 purl *, we knit the front loop with a crochet;
  • then repeat the 1st and 2nd row.

Patent patterns in the form of twigs and various weaves, I will publish a little later. If you are interested, subscribe to receive new articles from my blog and then you will not miss anything.

I didn’t even doubt what musical gift to choose for you for this jokingly serious article: of course "Half-breed" by Alexander Vertinsky in his performance! Listen and enjoy!
