Creative competition “Autumn Hat” (photo report). Autumn craft hat - an accessory for a holiday in kindergarten Autumn craft hat

The bright colors of autumn in our garden inspire us to create original autumn garden crafts made from natural materials. We offer you wonderful ideas on how to make fun crafts with your own hands.

For example, children can draw a face on a pumpkin with felt-tip pens and then color it with gouache.

And funny crafts made from cones and acorns can unexpectedly captivate even the most serious and adult person.

Such bright, cheerful crafts will add a cheerful sparkle to a cool autumn day.

Autumn crafts for the garden from natural materials. Making from pumpkin.

Autumn is generous with harvests and therefore you can use almost any vegetables and fruits for crafts. But pumpkin is traditionally the most popular material for autumn crafts.

The simplest techniques will help you achieve a beautiful effect in the garden: children's carnival masks on pumpkins or a vertical “bed” of small pumpkins.

How much fun it will be for both old and young to build a “carriage for Cinderella” from an ordinary pumpkin grown in your own garden!

Bright, beautiful table decoration ideas for the autumn holiday will also lift everyone’s spirits.

Romantic autumn notes will also come in handy in home decor: for this we need small pumpkins, a mirror, a glass vase and candles in glass candlesticks, which are attached with wire to the sides of the vase.

Autumn is a time of generous harvests, weddings and preparations for the winter. Autumn crafts made from natural materials are simply imbued with this sunny mood. A riot of colors, tastes and smells is the last cheerful chord of nature before the laconic colors of winter.

Autumn crafts for the garden from grass and leaves.

You can make amazingly beautiful crafts from dry grass, such as feather grass. After all, traditionally folk toys were made from straw.

We bend a bunch of grass in half, forming the head and body, while leaving half of the grass to form the wings.

Bend the remaining stems to form the right and left wings. Carefully trim the grass from below, making a tail for the owl.

We make an owl's head from ears of corn and berries. These beautiful garden crafts can be made from natural materials.

Using various natural materials for crafts: fruits, flowers, branches, leaves, hay, you can create your own original garden figurine.

Simple, but no less beautiful garden crafts can be made from leaves. After all, the beauty of autumn leaves is mesmerizing. The simplest autumn bouquet will take on a completely sunny mood. if you add a funny face to the middle of it. You can decorate the table with an autumn bouquet of branches, pine cones and leaves; such decor will look especially beautiful in the warm light of candles.

You can decorate your front door with a wreath of leaves - such a wreath is made on the basis of a frame of branches to which leaves, berries and fruits are attached. The trunks of climbing garden vines such as clematis can be used as the basis for exterior home decor. We decorate the bare trunks with branches, small pumpkins and add a funny face made of plywood.

You can make a funny little man for the garden from flower pots, decorating it with an armful of leaves, flowers and reeds. A simple but cute craft made from a beach straw hat. And it is very simple to do, you can do it with children: you need to cut out eyes and a mouth from paper, and attach a variety of autumn decor to the wide ribbon of the hat.

Autumn crafts from acorns and cones.

Acorns and cones are the most favorite materials for children's autumn crafts. There is so much material like this that you could make a whole series about the life of acorn men.

These are some cute autumn crafts you can make with your kids for the garden.

Even adults will be interested in making such exciting stories from the life of acorns.

This craft can be a cute and unexpected gift for someone special.

It seems that autumn is also a very romantic time.

Cones lead exciting lives too!

In gardens and schools, invariably, with the onset of the first cold weather, the Autumn Festival is held, designed to thank nature for its wonderful gifts and unsurpassed beauty. Dresses, performances, poetry readings and, of course, an exhibition with crafts made from natural materials are being prepared for this day. Here you can see a variety of animals made from cones and chestnuts, bouquets of leaves, autumn houses, panels and much more. An original exhibit of such an exhibition could be an autumn craft hat, which can simultaneously perform several functions: serve as an interior decoration, be a headdress for Autumn or for a child participating in a themed dance. Many kindergartens even hold fashion shows and competitions with the participation of such hats.

Making an autumn craft hat: how to make the base

To create such a craft, you will need a base in the form of a hat. The easiest option is to take a purchased hat (for example, a straw hat) and decorate it, but you don’t always have such a wardrobe item on hand, so you can make it yourself.

The most accessible material from which you can make a base is paper. To make a classic top hat, you will need thick paper, a plate, scissors, and glue.

  1. We measure the circumference of the head of the child or the person for whom the hat is intended. Divide this number in half, add a couple of centimeters for gluing, cut out two strips of cardboard of this width, the height of the strip will be equal to the height of the hat.
  2. We glue the two resulting strips together into one, close it into a circle, glue it again, we get a “pipe”.
  3. We make cuts along the bottom of the cylinder about two centimeters deep and wide, bend them outward, and put the part aside.
  4. Let's prepare the brim of the hat. Trace a large plate on a piece of paper. Place the top of the cylinder inside the resulting circle and outline it. Cut out the resulting edges.
  5. Lubricate the cuts on the cylinder with glue and connect it to the fields.
  6. In order to “close” the top of the cylinder, draw a circle on paper along it, add a couple of centimeters in width, and cut it out. We also make cuts, bend them, and glue them together.

You will get a hat like the one in the photo below.

Preparing a simple decor for an autumn hat using natural materials

The most interesting part is ahead – decorating the hat. For this we need:

  • glue gun;
  • paints or fabric;
  • autumn leaves;
  • Rowan;
  • dry flowers;
  • cones, acorns, etc.

If the base is a hat made of paper, then it should first be painted with paints, or covered with fabric; you can also paste it over with colored or corrugated paper. Further decoration of the hat is an absolutely creative process in which there are no restrictions. It can be completely covered with autumn leaves and other decorations, or a bright accent can be made in one or more places. If the hat is intended for Autumn or for a girl, an abundance of decorations would be appropriate - large quantities of flowers, bunches of rowan berries, ribbons, etc.
If the headdress is intended for a boy, then in this case the decor should be calmer and more laconic.

You can decorate an autumn hat not only with natural materials; needlewomen can also use other techniques, for example:

  • autumn leaves and flowers made using the quilling technique;
  • products made of felt, foamiran, ribbons;
  • artificial leaves, flowers, fruits, vegetables;
  • paper decorations;
  • knitted motifs.

Using my favorite technique, you can create a beautiful and exclusive autumn hat.

An original autumn hat can be made from maple leaves. All you need is a large quantity of leaves (about 250), scissors and an awl or knitting needle. The leaves can be of different sizes and colors, the main thing is that they are soft and there must be long cuttings.

First, you need to cut the cuttings of the leaves at an acute angle. Next, we take large leaves. We fold the first one in half, pierce it with the handle of the second one, making a kind of stitch.

With each new sheet we “stitch” the previous one, arranging them in a circle.

The result should be a circle about 30 cm in diameter. We make a fold from its edges, pierce it with a hole punch or knitting needle, and secure it with a handle, like a pin. It turns out to be a kind of cylinder.

Now we attach fields of leaves folded in half along the edge. It turns out to be a hat. It can also be decorated, for example, with a leaf flower or a rowan branch.

Video selection on the topic of the article

We suggest watching several videos dedicated to autumn hats. In them you can find information on making such a headdress, as well as get many interesting ideas for inspiration.

Have you come up with the idea of making an extravagant costume for a masquerade party and are you looking at a photo of a hat with your own hands? Then this article is just for you.

Here you will learn how quickly and easily you can sew a hat with your own hands for almost any occasion.

Such hats, which are fairly easy to create, can easily become a good replacement for expensive purchased costumes, and at the same time they will look almost as unusual and interesting.

Making a hat from plain paper

Of course, a paper hat is one of the easiest ways to add a little variety to your outfit purchased for a masquerade.

Using any scissors, as well as ordinary glue, you can quite simply create an incredible sombrero, which all travelers in Mexico love to buy, a cocked hat, like a pirate’s, or even a beautiful top hat, like a real gentleman’s.

Definitely a cardboard hat is an ideal option for those who do not have a lot of free time, but who would really like to surprise the guests of the event.

Making a hat like a pirate's

If unexpectedly the teachers in the group said that you need a hat for the kindergarten for a holiday, do not panic, even if you have never done anything with your own hands before.

First of all, you need to prepare the materials that will be needed later: this is colored paper, preferably white, black or any other bright color to add originality to the hat, an elastic band for the hat, a needle, glue, as well as a felt-tip pen or a black pen.

Step-by-step instruction

Draw a square on black paper and cut it out. Please note that the side of the square should be equal to the shortest side of the A3 sheet.

Turn the cut out square into a circle by carefully rounding the corners of the shape.

Fold a white sheet twice the length. Cut the resulting strip crosswise to create a beautiful fringe, it is important not to touch the bottom edge.

Unfold the sheet and cut it straight along the folds. Twist the fringe on each strip a little with a felt-tip pen or pen.

All curly stripes should be glued to a black circle.

It is important to pay attention to the fact that in order for the fringe to look neat, you need to glue it in such a way that all the edges you have folded look exclusively upward.

Directly in a circle, you need to mark three points that will be at the same distance from each other.

From each mark to the next, three folds are made. As a result, you will see a triangle with equal sides. The brim of the hat must be turned up.

When thinking about how to decorate a hat, you can, for example, make two feathers. The technology is similar to the principle of creating fringe.

Note!

For the front part of the headdress, you need to cut out a terrible white skull with several bones. Next, it is painted and glued to another folded field.

All that remains is to pierce two holes in the hat with a needle and secure the elastic.

After such detailed instructions, no one will probably be left with the question of how to make a hat with their own hands.

If you need a hat for a girl for the holiday on February 23, then the ideal option is to create a cap.

How to make a simple cap at home?

In order to make a cap for a child, you will need half a sheet of any old newspaper with A3 format or an ordinary sheet with A4 format.

Note!

What should be the sequence?

  • Fold the sheet in half with the short sides facing each other and turn it with the resulting fold upward;
  • The corners located on top of the resulting figure must be folded down and then towards the center, and then all the folds are smoothed out;
  • It turns out to be a paper house with a neat triangular roof;
  • The lower, fairly long rectangular strips must be turned up on each side and the folds smoothed again;
  • Wrap the triangles that are left loose in different directions and thus secure a homemade hat made from waste paper.

It’s so simple, in just a few hours you can create a rather interesting headdress for a child or for yourself.

All you need, besides materials, is a little imagination and patience in painstaking work.

Note!

The “Autumn Hats Parade” took place in Simferopol. The hat competition in kindergarten was held in all age groups. Parents really liked the idea of the competition, and many expressed a desire to take part in it and compete for the title of the author of the best autumn hat.

Parents of preschool children and the children themselves approached the creative task with full responsibility. There were all sorts of hats here: hats with sewn-on dummies of fruits, vegetables, leaves; and hats made from waste material; and flirty headdresses knitted by the caring hands of mothers. There were even hats in which, thanks to plasticine, it was possible to embody a certain plot on an autumn theme.

The hat competition in kindergarten took place in several stages.

Stage 1 - organizing an exhibition of works by parents and children.

Stage 2 - hat competition in kindergarten in your age group.

The nominations included “the most beautiful”, “the most unusual”, “the most fun”, “the most chic” and others. This stage of the competition was carried out through entertainment carried out in each group. The celebration was attended by: heads of the preschool institution, duo specialists (the competition jury), employees, children of other age groups of their choice and some parents.

Preschool children in their beautiful headdresses sang, danced, played relay races, and fairy-tale characters came to visit them.

At the end of the competition, each child’s hat was appreciated (of course, everyone got into some category). The jury members congratulated and presented gifts to the children.

Each group had its own entertainment scenario and organization.

Stage 3 - photo session with children in hats.

Stage 4 - holding the festival “Fall of Autumn Hats”.

Guests of the Improvement Institute were present at the fashion show. Children from the older group took part in the fashion show. The holiday ended with a wonderful dance, during which preschoolers demonstrated all the beauty of their creative works.

At the end of the project, some of the hats remained in the kindergarten. They still serve as decoration for the kindergarten.

Autumn is a wonderful time of year, this is the time when you can dream up and show your creativity.

One of the forms of cooperation between our kindergarten and family is the joint organization and holding of creative competitions and exhibitions in the kindergarten. Such events bring children and adults together, captivating them in joint activities. Recently in our kindergarten there was creative work competition "Autumn Hat".

Parents really liked the idea of the competition, and many expressed a desire to take part in it and compete for the title of author of the best autumn hat. The competition participants had to create an autumn hat with their own hands.

The talent and creativity of my students and their parents never cease to amaze me. All the autumn hats participating in the competition can be called real autumn masterpieces. Each hat was unique and original. Many hats were used at fall festivals in kindergarten. I bring to your attention photos of the best hats:

September's hat.

Oktyabrinka's hat.

Baby Noyabrina's hat.

At the end of the work, the results of the competition were summed up and an exhibition of competitive works was organized.

Voting was held among parents, children and kindergarten staff for the Audience Award. According to the results of a secret ballot, talent and creativity won, and the best hat was recognized Oktyabrina's hat.

I would like to express my gratitude to the parents of our students for their cooperation and desire to support us in all creative endeavors.

Thank you very much for your creativity and support!
