Today I want to talk about how you can knit a jumpsuit with a hood from half a skein of yarn, which will keep you warm in winter and will be reliable protection on cold spring and autumn days.
To make a jumpsuit with a hood, the following materials are needed:
- cherry-colored yarn Nako (260 m / 100 g)
- black yarn (260 m / 100 g)
- knitting needles No. 4 or knitting machine
- hook No. 3
- large needle
We cast on 52 loops.
Rows 1-27 - stockinette stitch.
Rows 28-33 - 1x1 rib.
Rows 34-36 - stockinette stitch.
We divide the fabric into 8, 6, 24, 6 and 8 loops, where sections of 6 loops are dropped onto an additional thread or pin.
We knit a section of 24 loops 12 rows in stockinette stitch, and sections of 8 loops we knit 21 rows in stockinette stitch.
Row 58 - in sections of 6 skipped loops, make 6 yarn overs and connect the fabric into one whole (the total amount of loops is 52).
59 -73 rows - stocking stitch (6 cm).
Row 74 - cast off the first 12 stitches.
Row 75 - cast off the first 12 stitches.
Rows 76-83 - stocking stitch (6 cm).
Row 84 - add 14 stitches at the beginning of the row.
Row 85 - add 14 stitches at the beginning of the row.
Rows 86-95 - stockinette stitch.
Row 96 - cast off middle 12 stitches.
Knitting is divided into left and right parts. You need to make several loop cuts from the middle of the knitting (from the place where 12 loops are closed).
Left side.
Row 97 - cast off the first 2 stitches near the cast off 12 stitches.
Row 98 - stocking stitch.
Row 99 - cast off the first 2 stitches near the cast off 12 stitches.
Row 100 - stockinette stitch.
Row 101 - cast off the first 2 stitches near the cast off 12 stitches.
Row 102 - stocking stitch.
103 row - close the first 1 loop near the closed 12 loops.
Rows 104-127 - stocking stitch.
Row 128 - bind off the loops.

Repeat rows 97-128 for the other (right) side. 
The result is a product like this.
Sleeves
Cast on 30 stitches and knit 20 rows in stockinette stitch. Repeat to make the second sleeve.
Assembling the overalls.
