Poodle - craft using quilling technique. Crafts from paper ribbons

Allows you to create a wide variety of products, including not only postcards, panels, paintings, but also three-dimensional quilling animals. We offer you a master class on how to make such a voluminous poodle dog, which will require wider paper strips than in traditional quilling.

These strips can be cut yourself from plain paper.
Let's start making a poodle with the head, for which you will need three paper strips, the width of which will be about five millimeters. From twisted strips we form a curved cone no more than two and a half centimeters long.

Now you will need three strips, but three millimeters wide, from which we form a slightly convex spiral. The two parts must be glued together as shown in the photo.

The dog's pink nose will be made from one-fourth of the strip, which is three millimeters wide. Glue it in place.

Next, we’ll start making the poodle’s neck: roll a wide strip (15 mm) into a tube to a diameter of 7 millimeters, seal the tip with glue. We make a collar from the red stripe, stepping back a couple of millimeters from the edge of the neck.

We roll up a medallion from an orange strip two millimeters wide and glue it to the collar strap.

The next part of the dog is the body, for which you need to take a strip of paper three and a half centimeters wide. We wrap the pencil with this strip until we get a cylinder with a diameter of fifteen millimeters. On both sides of the body it is necessary to glue slightly convex spirals, which are formed from strips three millimeters wide.

By gluing two blanks, we get a part that looks like a dog.

To make a poodle tail, take one quarter of a ten millimeter wide strip and wrap it around a toothpick. As a result, you should end up with an elongated spiral three and a half centimeters long. All that remains is to glue the tail in place.

In a similar way, we make four legs for a poodle, each of which should be cut slightly at an angle so that they stick well to the rounded body of the dog.

Let's start working with the fringe. To do this, you will need a strip eight millimeters wide, from which we cut the fringe.

One strip is enough for all four legs, dividing it equally between each. We wrap each leg with a strip of fringe and coat the paws thoroughly with glue.

After the fringe is glued to all the legs, straighten it thoroughly, after which the legs can be glued to the body.
Now you will need a strip ten millimeters wide, from which we also cut the fringe and divide it into four parts. From each part we form pompoms that are attached to each side of the poodle's head.

The next two similar pompoms find their place at the tip of the tail.

For the front of the poodle, you will need a ten millimeter wide strip with fringe, from which the front shoulder of the dog will be made.

For the back part, you will also need two such parts, but smaller in size, made from half of a similar strip.

A craft in the shape of a poodle made from cotton swabs is an unusual find for children of primary school age. In it, kids can create their own dog with a personalized haircut. And they will do it using cotton swabs. It's very interesting and funny!

Necessary materials:

  • cotton buds;
  • scissors;
  • white cardboard;
  • black marker;
  • pencil;
  • glue.

1. First of all, let's deal with cotton swabs. You should cut off the ends with cotton wool from each stick. There should be a lot of such blanks. One such craft in the form of a small poodle will require one small package of this material.

We set the cut ends aside, and the sticks can be thrown away or used to create another craft.

2. Redraw the silhouette of a poodle dog or draw it yourself on a white thick sheet of paper. Cut along the contour.

3. We begin to glue the prepared material onto the paws. To add volume, use a lot of cotton swabs and place them in several layers. We glue them only to some places where the dog should have fluffy fur.

4. Place the tips of cotton swabs on the tail. We do this in one layer. We fill all the space.

5. Then we move on to the chest, neck and head. They should also be completely decorated with cotton material.

We start from the very bottom edge and place the second row on the ends of the first.

6. Glue the third row to the ends of the second and thus fill the entire space of the dog’s chest, neck and head. These parts of the head and body should acquire volume and splendor.

7. Now we will make the ear. First, cut out its general shape from a white sheet of thick paper. Then gradually glue all the last cotton swabs from the bottom edge.

8. Glue the finished fluffy and voluminous ear to the head.

You will need:
White stripes: approximately 3 strips 3.5 mm wide
One 15mm strip; approximately twelve 10mm strips
Two 8mm strips;
three 5mm strips
Approximately five 3mm wide dark green stripes
One 3mm scarlet stripe
One 3mm pink stripe
One 2mm dark yellow stripe
Black gel pen
Cocktail straw
PVA glue
Thin scissors.

1. To make the head, take three 5mm strips and form a curved cone 2.5cm high.

2. Make a cup-shaped coil from three 3 mm wide strips. Glue it to the curved cone.

3. Make a nose using 3mm wide pink ribbon and form a tiny cup-shaped twist. Attach it to your head.

4. To create a neck, roll a 15mm wide strip until its diameter is 7mm. Trim the remaining strip and glue the tip. To make a collar, wrap half of a 3mm wide scarlet strip around your neck, leaving 2mm at the top.

5. The medallion is tightly rolled from dark yellow ribbon 2 mm wide. Glue it to your neck under the collar.

6. To make the body, wrap several 3.5mm wide strips around a pencil, you should get a ring coil with a diameter of 15mm. Make a cup-shaped coil of the same diameter from strips 3 mm wide and glue it to the other end of the tube. Glue another similar turn on the other side.

7. Glue the head, neck and torso.

8. For the tail, take a quarter strip of 10 mm wide and make a long, thin conical coil 3.5 cm high. A good rod is a cocktail straw, which is also good for applying glue to the inside of the tail. Glue the tail to the body.

9. Using the same method, form four legs and cut the top edges diagonally so that they are better attached to the body.

10. Make the thinnest fringe on an 8mm strip. Divide it into four parts. Glue one fluffy piece to the pointed end of the leg and wrap it as tightly as possible. Glue the tip of the fringe. Cover the base of the leg with a layer of glue.

11. Distribute the fringe on all four legs and glue them to the body.

12. To make the ears, cut the fringe into a 10mm wide strip and divide it into four parts. Make a pompom from each of them and glue two on both sides to the head.

13. Make two similar pompoms and glue them on both sides to the tip of the tail.

14. Cut the fringe into a 10 mm wide strip and prepare another pom-pom that will be attached to the dog’s shoulder. You need one pompom for each shoulder.

15. Make two smaller pom poms from the half strips for the back of the body.

16. Cut the fringe into a 15mm wide strip and roll it tightly. Glue the coil to the top of the poodle's head and fluff out the fringe a little.

17. Use a black gel pen to draw eyes on the poodle.

Playing poodles. You can create balls of different sizes and colors by gluing two cup-shaped coils together. The small rug is made from an oval dense coil made from many 10mm wide strips with cut fringe. Just keep cutting the fringe and rolling the rug until it's the size you want or until you get tired of it! If you change the position of the dog's legs a little, he will appear to be sitting or jumping.

Making a poodle is very easy. You can always change the size of the stripes to get a smaller poodle. You will need several wide strips.

Below: Poodle. The bowl is a dense coil with a diameter of 2.5 mm, made of strips 3 mm wide in an annular coil. The bone will require four cup-shaped turns, each made from a whole strip 3 mm wide. Two balls are formed from them. They are connected by a tube made of a quarter strip 70 mm wide.
