Laser hair removal model for training. Society of Aesthetic Medicine - Laser Courses

We decided to dispel myths about laser hair removal and asked Karina Musaeva, laser therapist and chief physician of laser hair removal and cosmetology clinics Laser Lounge Clinic and LazerJazz, to answer several pressing questions.

Is it true that any hair methods enhance hair growth in the long run?

Partly. Not all, but some methods of depilation do lead to hair stiffening. For example, if you use a razor or remove hair with an epilator or wax, then vellus hair (and most of them on our body are thin, barely noticeable hairs) after such depilation actually become tougher and darker. However, this story does not apply to already dark hair; it certainly will not grow faster than before.

What is the most effective permanent hair removal method?

At the moment, laser and ELOS hair removal are considered the most effective methods of hair removal. They allow you to completely solve the problem of unwanted hair on any part of the face and body within six months with maximum comfort for the patient.

Lasers are different: alexandrite And diode- Most Popular. The first is considered the “gold standard of hair removal”, since the wavelength is 755 nm, that is, the same length that is maximally absorbed by the hair pigment without affecting either the skin or blood vessels. The Alexandrite laser is suitable for any skin and hair type, including fair-skinned blondes and dark-skinned brunettes. In addition, such hair removal takes very little time: two shins - about ten minutes.

If your hair follicles are located quite deep (coarse hair and stubble), then I advise you to pay attention to another type of popular laser - diode. Hair removal with this device is carried out at the longest light wave - 800-940 nm, which makes it possible to carry out an effective procedure even in the most difficult cases.

It is also believed that diode lasers are more comfortable than alexandrite lasers, but their main drawback is that they do not cope well with thin vellus hair that is on the face, or with weakened hairs at the end of the hair removal course.

Let's move on to elos hair removal. Elos technology is a combination of two types of energy at once: laser and RF energy. This method is ideal for areas with high sensitivity - armpits, bikini, men's facial hair removal, coarse, deep-lying hair. Works great on blonde hair. And the restrictions on the period of abstinence from hair removal “after” and “before” the beach are lower than with a laser - only a week instead of the “laser” two or three. The only drawback is that the procedure takes longer than other types of hair removal.

There is also a method electrolysis. At first glance, it seems more affordable, but this procedure is significantly inferior to laser in terms of effectiveness, especially since there is a high risk of scarring. Although, it also has its advantages, for example, electrolysis allows you to remove gray hair, which laser cannot do.

When choosing a hair removal method, many also consider photoepilation. It appeared before laser technology, so it seems reliable and “proven” to many. However, today this is an obsolete method, like floppy disks and DVD players. That is, they work, but why use them when there are flash drives and online television?

Photoepilation is approximately 20% less effective than laser hair removal. Limitations are embedded in the technology of the method itself. During photoepilation, a beam of waves is produced, and they are all of different lengths. Therefore, some of them are absorbed by the skin, some by the pigment of blood vessels, and only part by the pigment of the hair. That is, photoepilation will be effective only for people with white-white skin and black-black hair. Others will undergo a long and painful course, and those with fair hair may still experience burns.

How many laser hair removal treatments are needed for a lifelong effect?

The result is influenced by many factors, including physiological characteristics such as skin color, thickness and hair color, but first of all it is the device and the knowledge of the laser therapist. This is a separate specialization in aesthetic medicine, so always be interested in these aspects before booking laser hair removal.

For the most effective laser and ELOS hair removal, you need to be in the active phase (that is, the hair is visible). A course of laser hair removal using an alexandrite laser or elos hair removal of the legs requires 4-5 procedures to achieve an ideal result. During each procedure, we destroy about 30% of unwanted hair, that is, those follicles that are in the active phase, the rest is “sleeping” and we will destroy it next time. Bikini, armpits, upper lip are a hormone-dependent area, hair grows faster there, the cycle is shorter, that is, the procedure needs to be carried out more often: once a month, so it will take about 12 procedures, that is, on average, a year.

Three more “bonuses” of laser hair removal

  1. The problem of ingrown hairs will disappear from the first procedure (laser hair removal is an indication for the treatment of this problem)
  2. For laser hair removal, you do not need to grow your hair (as for waxing), it can be completely shaved off between procedures, but, unlike shaving, the stiffness and intensity of the hair will never return.
  3. The laser improves the quality of the skin - its tone is evened out (post-traumatic pigmentation from ingrown hairs disappears, its microrelief improves (“the holes” from which the hair shaft grew go away). That is, the skin really becomes incredibly silky, this is not an epithet, this is a fact.

How to become a professional in the field of hair removal? Where to get training?

Effective and painless removal of unwanted hair has not been uncommon for a long time. Increasingly, both women and men are turning to salons for such a procedure. The modern spirit of aesthetics or a person’s personal preferences presuppose the absence of unwanted hair on the body. If you want to perform bioepilation (waxing or sugaring) at home, or are thinking about providing hair removal services, working in a salon or at home, you need to be trained in this technique. If you are interested in the topic of qualified and professional removal of unwanted waxes, you will undoubtedly be faced with the need for training in this matter. Perhaps you want to do hair removal only for yourself, at home; or maybe you have decided to master a new, highly paid profession as a cosmetologist in the field of depilation. In the first case, you will receive high-quality and professional knowledge, which will allow you to avoid injury to your body. In the second, you will acquire qualified knowledge, practice and initial experience in performing hair removal techniques. To do it at home, perhaps video lessons on the Internet will suit you, of which there are a huge number, in the same YouTube.

However, if you are thinking about changing your profession, you cannot do without qualified training at a training center or cosmetology salon.

Most training centers will lure you with discounts or nice bonuses, “as a gift”. We advise you not to fall for such provocations. After all, what is most important to you is knowledge and initial experience, because they will give you confidence in yourself and your abilities, and will also allow you to become a professional in your field, to whom they will make an appointment a month in advance. Believe me, the client always feels the master’s uncertainty and inexperience, becomes nervous himself, and this makes the master nervous. As a result, everyone will be dissatisfied with the service - you, the client, and the employer. Therefore, choosing a professional training center-salon is a top priority.

What to look for when choosing a training center:

First of all, look through the reviews about it. Word of mouth and reviews have not been canceled, at least you can always find dissatisfied people there and understand whether this CA suits you or not. Pay attention to how many years this salon has been providing services in the field of cosmetology - the experience of the teaching staff has also not been canceled. It will be a huge plus if on their website you can get acquainted with a brief resume of teachers, with their work experience and length of service. Carefully read the course program - if you are a beginner cosmetologist, then you are unlikely to immediately need the art of bikini design. And of course, we recommend asking in advance to show the certificate that you will receive after successfully completing your studies. This certificate will indicate your qualifications.

When learning waxing and sugaring, you should definitely be told about:

    types of waxes and sugar paste;

    the most common brands of wax and sugar paste;

    rules for working with hot, warm wax - which wax for which zone, and with sugar paste.

Then comes the practical part - working on models. The model can be provided by the center, or you can bring it yourself. After successfully passing the internship, you will receive a certificate. Now you can wax or sugar depilate professionally.

During training laser hair removal, in addition to all of the above, we recommend paying attention to the logistics of the center. In other words, what device will you be taught on? It is very important to undergo training on a modern, not decommissioned or outdated laser, for example, a companyLumenis Ltd, Israel.

It is important to know that only a specialist with a higher medical education is allowed to work with a laser device!

Laser hair removal is a very promising direction. Consumer research in the beauty industry shows that more and more women and men are choosing this type of hair removal. And for good reason, because laser hair removal allows you to get rid of hair forever and, at the same time, painlessly. All that is required of you is to do your job efficiently.

Almost every woman dreams of smooth, silky skin. Just a few years ago, it was almost impossible to believe that you could get rid of unwanted hair once and for all. One of the most effective procedures, which, despite its novelty, enjoys tremendous success, is ELOS hair removal. It is fundamentally different from all other procedures for removing unnecessary vegetation (electroepilation, photoepilation). The principle of its operation is based on the simultaneous influence of a high-frequency light pulse and current (for example, laser hair removal is based on one type of energy). Thanks to it, you can easily and painlessly remove hair from any part of the body: bikini area, armpits, above the upper lip, etc. Another advantage is that with this procedure the color and structure of the hair is absolutely unimportant (for example, photoepilation cannot get rid of gray and blond hair).

The course of the ELOS hair removal procedure lasts for 6-8 sessions with an interval of 1-2 months. Such a long duration depends on the fact that during the procedure only those hairs that are in the active growth phase are removed.

Naturally, elos hair removal is carried out in a salon, and its result largely depends on the professionalism of the master. If you are striving for improvement as a cosmetologist, or want to master a new, modern, profitable profession, then it is worth taking elos hair removal training.

ELOS hair removal courses

Training is carried out in our beauty salon using modern equipment and techniques. In just a few hours you can master the procedure, which is currently the most ideal way to get rid of unwanted hair: it leaves no irritation or redness, little time is spent on it, and after the session you don’t have to be afraid of UV rays (that is, sunbathing) , and the pain is practically absent.

Why us?

  • individual lessons that will allow you to master new material perfectly;
  • an experienced teacher who will not let you go until you learn;
  • providing free consultations at the end of the course;
  • After training, you will be issued a master technologist diploma, with which you can get a job in the relevant specialty.

Darbor Professional invites everyone to elos hair removal courses in Moscow, where they will teach you how to give girls soft-satin skin forever, without pain, torment, eternal irritation and constant shaving. And remember: everything that is done with soul is very expensive. Take care of your clients - and they will surely thank you with sincere gratitude and kindness! We love you!

You need to decide whether this technology is right for you. To do this, you need to contact and undergo an initial consultation.

At our center, the initial consultation is free. During the first consultation we:

  • We conduct an individual test of your skin, determine the thickness, quantity and color of hair in the hair removal areas in order to adapt the technology to your specific case.
  • We conduct a compatibility test with laser technologies. We do several test flashes so you can make sure our procedures are safe and painless.
  • We identify individual contraindications

Based on these three tests, the doctor gives personal recommendations on removing unwanted hair and the number of procedures you need.

Step 2: first session

For the first laser hair removal session, it is extremely important that the skin in the hair removal area is clean, i.e. without traces of deodorant (for the armpits), makeup (for the face) or any creams (for other areas).

A couple of days before the session, you need to shave the epilation area. But if suddenly your first session coincides with your first visit to our center, don’t worry, the cosmetologist will independently treat the hair removal area.

At each hair removal session, you will be provided with special glasses to protect your eyes from laser radiation.

During laser hair removal, the hair root is destroyed by light, which may cause you to feel a slight burning sensation that resembles a prick. For the procedure, we use devices equipped with a cold gas supply system - it protects the surface of the epidermis before delivering the laser pulse. Pain sensations are affected by individual sensitivity; some may not feel pain at all. One way or another, when compared to wax hair removal, laser hair removal is incomparably less painful.

Immediately after the procedure, the cosmetologist will apply a special cream to the hair removal area to soothe the skin. There may be slight redness that goes away over the next two hours.

The effect of the first procedure can last for several days: some hairs will fall out immediately, others over the next few days. This happens because the laser destroys the cells of the hair follicle and also affects the capillaries that feed the hair root. That is why the effect may not appear immediately.

Step 3: Between Sessions

Subsequent procedures will be carried out exactly the same. Between treatments, we recommend shaving only as a method of removing unwanted hair, as it is necessary to use methods that do not irritate either the skin or the hair follicle. Shaving meets these two requirements.

The interval between sessions is four to six weeks. The exact time between sessions, as well as the required number of sessions, can only be told by a doctor at the initial consultation.

Step 4: Success

At the end of the course of sessions prescribed by the doctor, you will feel extraordinary lightness, as unwanted hairs will disappear, and you will forget about this problem forever.

That's it, no special complications or wisdom. On average, a laser hair removal session takes from 15 to 30 minutes. So it's very fast, simple, painless and very effective!

We are waiting for you in our center - come and try everything yourself!

Modern fashion dictates its own canons of beauty. Every woman, at all costs, strives to be attractive, charming and unforgettable. For many centuries, humanity has been looking for effective methods and means to maintain youth and beauty. This desire has not faded at all in our time. Even in ancient times, girls used all kinds of methods to ensure that their skin was as smooth and attractive as possible. After all, silk skin and a modern woman are interconnected things.

What are the prospects for laser hair removal?

Innovative methods in cosmetology make it possible to achieve ideal smoothness of the skin in the shortest possible period of time. Today, a huge number of methods are known aimed at eliminating unwanted vegetation, but the most effective of them is laser hair removal. The laser beam, acting on the hair follicle, destroys most of it, which ultimately slows down the subsequent growth of the hair shaft. Laser hair removal can be used on any part of the body (face, arms, intimate area, thighs, legs, etc.).

Advantages of laser hair removal:

  • aesthetics;
  • painlessness;
  • hygiene;
  • absolute safety of the procedure;
  • the laser affects only the hair follicle, without affecting the epidermis and dermis;
  • the effectiveness of the procedure can be assessed after the first session;
  • can be used for any skin type;
  • persistent reduction in hair quantity;
  • the use of hair removal on hypersensitive areas of the skin;
  • absence of ingrown hairs after the procedure;
  • long-term therapeutic effect.

Most of the students who complete the courses work as craftsmen in cosmetology centers or start their own business.

Where can I learn everything about laser hair removal?

The training program consists of a theoretical and practical course. The theoretical part of the classes is conducted in the form of briefings and lectures, during which a specialist introduces students to the key rules and principles of laser hair removal. The first lecture, as a rule, is devoted to the structure of hair and existing modern methods of body hair removal.

During the training process, future laser hair removal specialists study the anatomical structure of hair and its physiological characteristics. During the classes, the cosmetologist explains to students the principle of operation of laser systems. After listening to the course, you will learn how to select the duration of the procedure for certain areas, how to adjust the device parameters, taking into account the skin phototype, color, hardness and thickness of the hair.

An integral part of the theoretical course is the study of contraindications for the procedure. Each master performing hair removal must have an understanding of pathologies and skin defects that are a contraindication for the procedure, therefore, significant attention is paid to them as part of the training. In the process of studying safety precautions, the lecturer draws attention to the rules for working with various types of laser systems, preparing the skin for the procedure and carrying out final actions.

The use of a laser is undesirable if the following pathologies are present:

  • oncological diseases,
  • pregnancy,
  • skin damage,
  • decompensated diabetes mellitus,
  • colloid disease,
  • mental illness,
  • individual intolerance,
  • hypertension, systemic blood diseases,
  • infectious diseases,
  • true photodermatitis,
  • active tuberculosis,
  • diffuse toxic goiter,
  • cardiac ischemia,
  • hyperpigmented moles,
  • burns.

From theory to practice

Practical classes are aimed at ensuring that students acquire the maximum number of practical skills in hair removal. Students have the opportunity to observe the coordinated professional actions of highly qualified craftsmen. They will see the entire laser hair removal process, including hygienic treatment of the skin, application of cooling agents after unwanted hair has been removed by laser.

Hair removal courses for beginners typically cover hair removal techniques in the following areas:

  1. in the axillary area,
  2. on the face,
  3. upper and lower extremities,
  4. intimate area, etc.

Removing problematic facial hair using a laser is a classic method that allows you to achieve excellent results, minimizing the risk of hyperemia and skin irritation. Another undeniable advantage of laser hair removal is that it can be successfully used in hypersensitive areas of our body.
