You can dye your hair in two ways: using cream dye or using bleaching powder. The product is selected depending on how much lighter and what shade you want to get the result. The dye will raise the tone by no more than 2 levels. Powder can lighten your hair much more.

The hair was dyed with Estel De Luxe High Blond 101 (lightening series) + 9% oxygen. But the shade turned out not quite the same, the yellowness is visible (not strong). The result is just lightening + very light toning. The native color (undyed hair) is light brown. Is it possible to apply this dye again to such hair to obtain the desired shade?

Hello. Again, I don’t recommend using 9% oxide. As far as I understand the question, you wanted a cooler shade. Now it's better to do toning. You can do it softly - using “Silver” shampoo from the same Estelle: dilute silver with water 1:2, leave for 3 minutes. If you want a more saturated shade, increase the concentration of shampoo to 1:1.
Option with tinting on Estel DE LUXE: color 10/16 + DE LUXE activator 1.5% in a 1:2 ratio. You can add an ampoule of HEC (also Estelle). Apply for 15-20 minutes (no more, otherwise the color will darken). If you need a warmer shade, add 10/16 to 10/76 in a ratio of 2:1 + activator 1.5% 1:2 for the total volume of paint. Don't forget to add the ampoule.

It’s just that from the previous coloring there was half a tube left that had nowhere to put it. And I don’t want to throw it away.
Maybe you can somehow adjust the exposure time of the dye so as not to “kill” your hair?

Hello! There are gray and silver shades in almost every professional line. In order to get such a pure metallic color, the hair should be lighter and without yellowness (you can see the yellow tone in the second photo). The easiest way to do color cleaning is to read about it here. In your case, one procedure is enough and, if necessary, painting the roots.
Blond 101 is too light for the color in the first photo. You can try that too, but add mixton graphite 0/G from the same Estel (it will have to be added in any case). But it washes out quickly - within 2 weeks (standard situation for gray). There is no need to use 9% oxidizing agent for the entire length, just renew the roots. And it’s better to tint along the entire length: either with 1.5% activator or 3% oxide. And always with a HEC ampoule. Color options according to the Estel De Luxe palette: 10/16, 10/116. Maintain the shade and adjust its intensity with special silver shampoos.

Hello, Evgenia. To neutralize the unwanted yellow tint, you need to tint. Choose a purple dye, i.e. in the color name, look for the combination “ash-pearl”, “ash-violet”, etc. Using Estelle dyes as an example, these will be shades 10/66, 10/61, 10/16, in Matrix - 10Av. The dye is mixed with an oxidizing agent 3% or an activator 1.5% in a 1:1 ratio, i.e. for 30 grams of paint you need to add 30 grams of oxidizing agent. You can add the HEC Estelle ampoule to the mixture. The paint and oxidizer are from the same manufacturer. The composition is applied to the hair for 15-20 minutes, washed off in the usual way, always with balm. If you increase the paint exposure time, the color will turn out darker. To maintain a cool shade of hair, use a special Silver shampoo for blondes once a week.

Hello, Natalia. Try mixing a dye of a natural shade (indicated by a zero after the point - X.0) and an ash-colored dye (after the point one - X.1) or use those blue mixton.. To advise something more specific, you need to know your natural hair color, what they were painted with before, what color they went from to light and what they wanted to achieve as a result.

my natural color is somewhere between 5 and 6, I dyed it blonde at the hairdresser, now I want to dye it myself, I don’t know what tone to choose so that I can dye it up to tone 10 and without yellowness. Hello Lera. Dye the roots with a bleaching powder using a 3% oxidizing agent. With a higher percentage of oxidizing agent, yellowness will appear more actively. Determine the exposure time visually by the change in hair color. To neutralize the yellow color, Estelle has a good preparation “Anti-Yellow effect”, it is applied immediately (!) after lightening and mixed with a 3% oxygen agent or a 1.5% activator (the second option is better and softer for the hair). For tinting, a shade of 10/16 or 10/17 is suitable (the first will give a cool ashen tone, the second a softer beige). It is better to do tinting with a 1.5% activator, the main thing is not to overdo it, otherwise the color will turn out darker.
To neutralize yellowness when tinting, you can add a purple corrector to the paint (1-2 cm for every 30 grams of paint). Use one thing - either mixton, or “Anti-Yellow effect”.
You can add a HEC ampoule (Estelle) to the paint.

Good day! Can you tell me how I can get rid of yellowness during balayage without ruining the stretch marks (dark brown hair with a strong red pigment, I did a powerful wash twice)? Tinted balms don’t do the job, but why, after the salon the color is washed off after one wash 🙁 it’s expensive for money to constantly go there without benefit, so I want to cool the bleached part of my hair myself at home. Hello. If I understand correctly, you are asking about tinting. At home, the easiest way is to correct the color yourself using tinting foam (for example, Igora Mousse). Paint is more difficult, because... it is difficult to maintain the color transition boundary. But, if you want to use paint, use pearl and ash shades (1:1) in combination with an activator (it has a minimum percentage of 1.5-1.9%, depending on the manufacturer). You always need twice as much activator as paint. Exposure time 20 minutes.
