English two-story bus paper craft drawing. School bus - craft (origami)

How to make an origami school bus and truck out of paper, as well as postcards for September 1 and Driver's Day with your own hands. Step-by-step (step-by-step) instructions with photos plus riddles.

School bus - paper craft (origami)

Until recently, school buses were an attribute of foreign schools. Since 2001, with the advent of the federal School Bus program, they have appeared in our country.

At the school where my eldest daughter studies, the first bus appeared three years ago. This school year our school bus looks like this.

So now a yellow bus with the inscription “Children” in our country has also become associated with the school, like a blackboard, desk, backpack, diary, textbooks, globe - everything that is most often depicted on postcards for September 1, Knowledge Day.

Therefore, in this article I will tell you how to make a fairly simple craft or postcard for September 1 with a school bus using the origami technique. You can make a regular bus and truck in exactly the same way.

In order to make this craft, you will need a sheet of single-sided yellow square paper 15x15 cm and markers (pencils, gel pens).

How to make an origami bus

Volumetric origami bus for the game

In order to get not a flat, but a voluminous bus, which will be more interesting for children to play with, you will need to make not one, but two buses according to the proposed instructions, only they must be in a mirror image (that is, one of them has the driver’s window located on the right, and the other - left) and the same color. Then glue both figures together at the top with the right sides facing out.

You will get a double-sided volumetric craft. Such a bus will stand on a flat surface and even drive if you glue a string to it and carefully pull it.

True, this will no longer be classic origami, which does not use glue, and the craft is made from one square sheet of paper.

How to make an origami truck

If you make an origami figure according to the instructions from the first to the eighth points proposed in this article, you will get a truck. On it you need to finish drawing only the steering wheel and the driver in the cockpit or not drawing anything at all.

DIY postcard with a bus or truck for Driver’s Day

If you don’t write “Children,” you’ll end up with just an ordinary origami bus, which will be fun for boys to play with.

You can also glue this bus (truck) onto a sheet of cardboard folded in half and write a congratulation or stick a printout. Such a postcard, made by a child’s hands, can be given to a father, grandfather, uncle or other relative who works as a bus (truck) driver for a birthday or professional holiday. Driver Day in Russia is celebrated annually on the last Sunday of October.

The postcard will turn out even more original if you paste a photograph of the person to whom it is intended as a gift into the cabin of the vehicle depicted on it.

Tricky bus riddles

And finally, to make it more interesting for children to make this craft, while working, you can invite them to answer a couple of tricky riddles about buses. I will write the correct answers in the comments.

Drawing - riddle (graphic puzzle) with a bus "Where is the bus going?"

The picture shows a bus. From it you need to guess which way he is going, right or left.

Oral riddle about the driver and the bus

It is advisable to tell this riddle orally, since if you see the text, it is easier to answer the first question.

Night. It's raining. A bus is driving along the road, all the passengers on it are sleeping. Only the driver is not sleeping. The bus turned right.
Questions:
1. What is the name of the bus driver?
2. What is the bus number?
3. Why did the bus turn right?

Many kids simply love to play with cars, but it will be even more interesting for them if they can participate in the process of creating a homemade car with mom or dad. If the baby is too small, then he can help paint the figures or glue them, and older children can cut out and create individual parts of the entire structure.

You can make a machine from any available materials. For example, to make a bus you will need a toothpaste box (or any long box), cardboard, a stationery knife, glue, felt-tip pens (pencils), four bolts and nuts (can be taken from a children's construction set).

In the first step, we need to cut out several rectangular windows at the top of our box. These windows in the finished bus will play the role of seats for passengers - the child will be able to put his small toys there.

Next, cut out four circles from cardboard, from which we will make wheels. Such a difficult task as creating wheels will help the child acquire several skills at once, since you can show him how to get a circle by tracing a glass with a pencil, how to cut it out to make a circle, then carefully color it. But there is no need to reproach the baby if something doesn’t work out for him. For him, cutting out an even circle or drawing wheels correctly is the same difficult task as for an adult learning to solder or understanding what comprehensive insurance is.

In each circle you need to make a hole for the bolts and use them to attach the wheels to the box. If the wheels are not glued, but attached with bolts, then they will be able to rotate, which the child will really like. In order for the car to drive, the wheels must be the same size and not attached too tightly to the box. In this case, it is advisable to take thick cardboard for them.

Now you can ask your child to decorate the bus by adding the missing parts and gluing them to the body. You can invite him to cut out headlights, license plates, mirrors from cardboard, or make some drawings. To do this, you can use stickers, self-adhesive paper, electrical tape or tape. Usually the children are happy to work on decorating their car and then willingly play with it, carrying any of their toys in it.

The main thing is that in the process of creating a bus, the child does not find himself left to his own devices, when dad, in the middle of the lesson, with the words: “Well, okay, then you’re on your own,” goes to watch football or fill out a comprehensive calculator, and mom goes to cook dinner or watch a TV series. Otherwise, all this may end in crumpled papers and a crying, dissatisfied child who could not cope with tasks that were too difficult for himself.

This completes the process of creating a bus. Now all that remains is to check the vehicle in motion, invite the child to put toys in it and begin the transportation process itself.

Step by step process of making a bus.
Make two 15x8cm rectangles (the sides of the bus). Round the top corners of the rectangles. Make a 5x30 cm rectangle (roof, front and back of the bus). Fold the edges of the rectangle along the length on both sides by 0.5 cm and cut.

Glue the cut edges of the long rectangle to one side of the bus.

Glue the second side part of the bus to the previously made part.

Make 5 rectangles for the windows: 4.5xcm and two - 4x3cm. Round the edges on all sides. Let's get window frames. Prepare rectangles (glass) for windows measuring 2x4cm and 3x2cm. Round the edges of the parts. For the door, make a rectangle 6x3cm and a handle 1x0.5cm.

Let's glue the parts (windows and door) onto the bus.

We will make rectangles for headlights and bus numbers 2x1cm and 1.5xcm, as well as circles with a diameter of 1cm. Let's glue these parts to the front and back of the bus.

For the wheels we will make circles or ovals with a diameter of 3.5 cm and 2 cm.

Glue the small circles onto the large ones. Let's glue three wheels on each side to our bus.

The bus is ready.

Adviсe.
1. It is better to make the main parts of the bus from thick paper and glue them with “Moment” transparent glue.
2. Small parts of the bus can be glued with pencil glue.

Thank you for your attention! I look forward to your feedback.

Master class from waste material on the topic: « Buses» .

So, let's prepare material:

1. Paint boxes.

2 Colored and white paper.

3. Two cocktail straws, 4 wheel covers, 4 furniture buttons.

4 Tool: Awl, scissors, wire cutters.

5. Glue and brush.

We choose colored paper and cover the box on all sides and dry it.

We prepare 4 lids, 4 buttons, and cocktail straws.

We use an awl to pierce holes for mounting the wheels.

We insert the tubes into the holes and cut them to length. We first pierce the lids with an awl, then enlarge the hole with the tip of scissors so that a tube can fit through.

We put wheels on the tubes and glue buttons on them for beauty and strength.

Using an awl we make two holes for the headlights. We glue two more furniture buttons into them. Although headlights can be made from colored paper.

We cut out windows and doors - as many as you need. glue it. It turned out like this bus. His wheels are spinning.

I want to show another option for making wheels - from cardboard.

Cut out 8 identical circles from black cardboard.

We pierce the wheels glued together with an awl.

This one has bus the wheels also spin.

A few more of these buses and you can play"Car park. "Now you can draw passengers, driver, route number...

And finally, buses! That's right, today we publish diagrams - paper bus layouts.

If you have already tried gluing paper cars, paper models of tanks and airplanes, then you can easily cope with making the one you like bus models.

We offer glue bus models still from Soviet times.

Gluing paper buses

In order to make these buses, you will need to print out diagrams of the parts on thick paper (if you don’t have thin cardboard, then you can cut a sheet of Whatman paper into several sheets the size of an A-4 sheet).

If you printed it on a black and white printer, then color the scans of the buses.
Then cut out all the parts with scissors. At the same time, try to keep the details neat.
Then, using a ruler and an old non-writing pen, make neat folds for gluing on the bus parts.

Now you can start gluing the model. Glue for this is suitable for any type, either dry glue stick or liquid PVA (for greater accuracy, apply it with either a brush or a match). When gluing parts, hold the surfaces to be glued for a while until they dry.
