Extracurricular activities dedicated to the new year. Scenario of extra-curricular activities "journey to the new year"

Lebedeva Ludmila Gennadievna,
Informatics teacher GBOU lyceum № 384
Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg

There is always a lesson at the end of the 2nd quarter, when all the grades are worth it and you can get a little distracted, or you can just break the class hour. In this development, I propose several rear ones that can be used in a game in groups on the eve of the New Year. They can be varied depending on the time and desire.

1. Usually the first task is to create a mood. More often it is dedicated to the year of the future or the past.

In the year of the dragon, I offered the following task.

In one Chinese treatise, they write about this animal like this: “Head like a camel, horns like a deer, eyes like a hare, ears like a cow, neck like a snake, stomach like a sea animal shen, scales like a carp, claws like a hawk, paw like a tiger ... "

While reading, the guys draw in turn, passing the sheet: the head - a camel, the eyes - a hare, the horns - a deer, the ears - a cow, the neck - a snake, the scales - a carp, the belly - a mollusk, paws - a tiger, claws - an eagle

Who did you get? - The symbol of the next year is the dragon - this will be the emblem of your team.

In the year of the Horse, I suggested finding hidden horses in the picture (there are many similar pictures on the net, not only with horses).

2. Read the encrypted phrase.

Starting with the letter H, connect the letters and read the phrase that you get:

Answer: Before Christmas

The carol came.

Here you can ask the guys what a carol is and tell them that this is the Slavic folk name for Christmas Eve, the feast of the Nativity of Christ, as well as Christmas time from Christmas to Epiphany. The integral attributes of the holiday were dressing up (dressing with the use of skins, masks and horns), caroling, carol songs, gifting carolers, youth games, fortune telling.

Kolyada (kolo - circle) - Slavic-Russian God, the baby sun, the God of winter festivities, the God of the beginning of a new life. The nascent Sun appears in the form of a child. The baby is the disc of the Sun, called Kolo since ancient times. The baby Kolyada is captured by the witch Winter and turns him into a wolf cub. When they remove the wolf skin from Kolyada and burn it on a spring fire, Kolyada will appear in all its glory. And the Sun is sent south on a cart to meet spring.

While the people are caroling and the snow crackles under their feet from the frost, witches and evil spirits rage, stealing the stars and the moon from heaven. Everywhere they tell fortunes about marriage, for the harvest, for the offspring. And marriages follow conspiracies and matchmaking.

3. Quiz "Are you ready to meet Santa Claus"

  1. Match the name of Santa Claus with the country:
  1. Match: who delivers gifts in what ways
  1. Match the name of Santa Claus with the country

Sinterklaas - Holland, Papa Noel - Spain, Yulebukk - Norway, Peer Noel - France, Babo Nattole - Italy, Joulupukki - Finland, Sho Hin - China, Oji-san - Japan, Sylvester - Austria, Jules Temten - Sweden, Baba Mine - Azerbaijan, Ezhishek - Slovakia.

  1. Match: who delivers gifts in what ways:

Russian - in a bag under the tree, German - leaves on the windowsill, Mexican - in a shoe, French - pours down the chimney, Swedish - puts it on the stove, Spanish - throws it on the balcony, American - in a sock.

  1. Set the correspondence between the modern months and the old Russian ones:

January - cross section, February - lute, March - birch, April - pollen, May - grass, June - sunday, July - worm, August - sickle, September - springtime, October - leaf fall, November - chest, December - jelly

Here you can also tell that among the ancient Slavs the year was divided into twelve months, the names of which were closely connected with natural phenomena. Sechen (January) - the time of deforestation; fierce (February) - severe frosts; berezol (March) - they took juice from birches; pollen (April) - flowering gardens; grass (May) - the grass turns green; worm (June) - cherries turn red;
Lipets (July) - linden blossom; sickle (August) - the harvest is coming; Veresen (September) - flowering heather; leaf fall (October) - falling leaves from trees; chest (November) - from the word "pile" - a frozen rut on the road;
jelly (December) - cold, cold. Many Old Slavic names of the months of the year later passed into a number of Slavic languages.

7. Logic task

Since I am a computer science teacher, I will definitely give a logical problem that is solved in a tabular way on the New Year theme.

Gifts from Santa Claus

The children in the Petrov family behaved well throughout the year and received gifts from Father Frost. Masha, Nastya, Sasha, Roma, Seryozha ran to open the presents. Each of them received a gift and not one was repeated.

Sasha thought Nastya got the ball.

Nastya assumed that Roma received a set of pencils, and Masha - puzzles.

Roma believed that Seryozha received puzzles, and Sasha received a twister.

Masha thought that Nastya got the Scrabble game, and Roma got the ball.

As a result, it turned out that they were all wrong in their assumptions. Who received a gift from Santa Claus?

Answer: Sasha - puzzles, Masha - pencils, Nastya - twister, Roma - "Erudite", Seryozha - ball,

Here are some more examples of logical tasks that were proposed by the teacher of computer science and ICT at the Lyceum No. 13 of Petrozavodsk, Gavrilova Ekaterina Mikhailovna in her methodological development of an informatics lesson for solving logical problems.

Task number 1 Celebration of the New Year

In Russia, the date of the celebration of the New Year under Prince Vladimir, Peter I and John Vasilyevich III was September 1, January 1, March 1.

It is known that:

  • Peter I was a reformer tsar who loved everything European
  • The introduction of Christianity into Kievan Rus was carried out by Prince Vladimir
  • The celebration of the New Year from January 1 was celebrated in most European countries.
  • John Vasilievich was tsar before Peter I
  • From the moment of the baptism of Kievan Rus, the celebration of the New Year was from March 1

Under which ruler, what date was the New Year celebration?

Answer: under Prince Vladimir - March 1, Peter I - January 1, and John Vasilyevich III - September 1.

Task number 2 "New Year's costume"

For the New Year's holiday, three friends - Evgeny, Nikolai, Alexei, chose the costumes of three heroes: Ilya Muromets, Alyosha Popovich, Dobrynya Nikitich.

It is known that:

  • Eugene is the tallest
  • The one who chose the costume of Dobrynya Nikitich is shorter than the one who chose the costume of Ilya Muromets
  • Alexei did not fit Dobrynya Nikitich's costume
  • None of the friends have the same name as the names of the heroes, the chosen costumes

Which costume did each of the friends choose?

Answer: Alexei - Ilya Muromets, Alyosha Popovich - Evgeny, Dobrynya Nikitich - Nikolai.

Task number 3 "New Year's card"

Three classmates - Vlad, Timur, Konstantin put forward versions of the appearance of the New Year's card:

1. The first Christmas card appeared in England in 1794. The artist Dobson, congratulating his friend on the holiday, painted a family scene around a Christmas tree and a winter landscape.

2. According to another version, they began to send cards for Christmas only in 1841, it was then that they appeared in the shop window of an enterprising

3. According to the third version, the Englishman Henry Cole, who was friends with Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, was the first to write a Christmas greeting card. In 1843, Cole, being too busy to write his congratulations to all his many friends, asked the artist John Calcott Hosley to draw a postcard.

Which version was put forward by someone, if known:

  • Vlad is fond of English artists of the 18th century
  • Interested in the history of Scotland and Timur celebrated Christmas together in France

Answer: 1st version - Vlad, 2nd version - Konstantin, 3rd version - Timur

9. Code of Caesar

This task will also be interesting first of all to the computer science teacher.

Caesar's cipher, also known as shift cipher, caesar code or Caesar shift- one of the simplest and most well-known encryption methods.

The cipher is named after a Roman emperor Gaius Julius Caesar who used it for secret correspondence with his generals.

Each letter in this cipher is replaced by another letter separated from the first by a certain distance. For example, in a cipher with a shift of 4, "A" is replaced by "D", "B" - "E", "C" - "G" and so on.

And to make it easier to encrypt the inscriptions, you can use the following disks:

I have such circles prepared from cardboard. Their centers are connected (the first is less, the second is more). You can simply put the alphabet and explain the rule: in this case, all letters are shifted by 5 letters (letter A - E, G - Z) You can encrypt any phrase.

ZUZHUHDCHFUITUZHAOZUIYCHUTYFULYREINTSJTSKZHTSYZIEFHUNMUOIKCHZHTSKZHTSYZIETSYAZHEYCHUD

Answer: They say on New Year's Eve
Whatever you wish -
Everything will always happen
Everything always comes true.

10. Puzzles

I have prepared cut pictures of the New Year theme, or you can buy ready-made puzzles. Since I work in a computer science office and I have computers, the captains put the puzzles on the computer, and the teams put them on paper.

Children from 5th to 8th grades play these games with pleasure. I do not give all the tasks at once, so I can play several years in a row with the same class, supplementing and changing these tasks a little.

Extra-curricular event on the topic: New Year, grades 7-8

Educational and entertainment program "New Year - a family holiday" (for students in grades 7 - 8)

Shepelenko Tatyana Anatolyevna, teacher of Russian language and literature, MKOU Ramonskaya secondary school No. 2, Ramonsky district, Voronezh region

Description: This event is intended for students in grades 7-8, the script will be useful to class teachers.

Target:
Formation of a respectful attitude to the tradition of celebrating the New Year in the family circle.

Tasks:
1. To form a favorable climate in the children's and parental team.
2. Create a festive mood.
3. To form a sense of command, empathy.
4. Develop communication culture skills.

Students are invited to the celebration along with their parents. Everyone is seated at the festively decorated tables. Tea and sweets are on the tables. All attendees are required to be in costume. At the entrance, everyone is given carved emblems with a number (these numbers then participate in a win-win lottery).

1 host: Good evening, dear friends. We are pleased to welcome you to this hall for our family celebration. After all, New Year is a family holiday.
2 host: On New Year's Eve, I would like to wish you something unusual: a round dance of snowflakes, moonlight, pearls of stars. Believe in your star and under no circumstances lose hope.
1 host: Each holiday has its own attributes. The main attribute of the New Year was a decorated Christmas tree. This custom came to us in the 18th century from Germany, where they believed that spirits that could affect people's lives lived on evergreen firs.
2 host: What do you think, under what tree did our ancestors celebrate the New Year? (Under the cherry blossoms, which were specially grown in tubs in houses. They made it so that the cherry blossomed by New Year's Eve).
1 host: And who can name the New Year tree in Vietnam? (It's a tangerine tree)

1 contest "Decorate the Christmas tree"
2 host: It's time for us to decorate the Christmas tree, and not one, but two at once, and live ones. Two people who answered the questions choose a taller tree among those present (it can be dads) and, on command, begin to decorate it with improvised means. Who better, faster, more accurately decorate his "Christmas tree", he won. The hall is divided into fans and helps with funds.
(Christmas trees are decorated to the groovy New Year's melody).

2 competition "Santa Claus"
1 host: We decorated the Christmas tree. But for the New Year's holiday, we still lack something. What? (Santa Claus). That's right, Santa Claus! In the meantime, Santa Claus is still on his way, you must honestly answer a few questions for me. Do you know the names of the relatives of our Santa Claus?
1. In what country is the New Year's old man's name Per Noel? (In France)
2. Who plays the role of Santa Claus in Italy? (Baba Bifana)
3. What was the name of the Greek Santa Claus? (Basil)
4. In what country is Father Frost called Vainakhtoman? (In Germany and Austria)
5. Where is Santa Claus called Santa Claus? (in USA and UK)
6. What is Santa Claus called in Japan? (Toshigami)
7. What is Santa Claus called in Colombia? (Papa Pasquale)
8. What country does Yulemand visit? (Norway)

3 competition "Vacant position"
2 host: We announce a competition for the vacant position of Santa Claus. Each team is given time to prepare. How you appear, what you will do, what you will wear is a matter of your imagination. The main thing is that everyone should have fun and interesting. You can take helpers.
(Each team is invited to choose one person who will prepare a little and play the role of Santa Claus. This person can put everyone in a round dance, listen to poems, make riddles. The performance time of each Santa Claus is no more than 5 minutes).

4 competition "Who is faster"
1 host:(The three most active boys are invited to the stage). You got a lot to try on the outfit of the Snow Maiden. On command, you need to put on a robe, fasten it, put on a hat, braid braids (ribbons). Whoever completes everything first must say: “Here I am, Snegurochka!”

5 competition "A Christmas tree was born in the forest"
2 host: What is a holiday without a song? I propose to remember the New Year's songs. Sing one line from the song. Whoever remains last will win the competition.
1 host: I think that all of you remember and know the song "A Christmas Tree Was Born in the Forest" well. It seems that this song has always existed, and few people know its history. For the first time the poem "Herringbone" was published in 1903 in the children's magazine "Baby". It was written by Raisa Adamovna Kudasheva, teacher and librarian, author of more than two hundred works for children. Some time later, the composer L.K. Beckman wrote music for the poems.
2 host: Now we will check how well you know this children's song. Your task is to sing this song, but not to the tune we are used to. One participant sings to the tune “A grasshopper was sitting in the grass”, and the other - “Why did you come to our collective farm”. Whoever lasts the longest wins. You can add and change words. Good luck!

6 competition "New Year's question"
(All participants are asked questions on the New Year theme)
- New Year's TV show ("Blue Light")
- A holiday where a mandatory attribute is a mask (Masquerade)
- Winter building (Snowman, snow fortress)
- The main character of the New Year (Santa Claus)
- The most beautiful holiday of the year, on the occasion of which we have gathered (New Year)

7 competition "Win-lose lottery"
(There is a lottery. Small prizes need to be prepared in advance)

1 host: According to the Eastern calendar, each year has its own name. And this is how it turned out. One New Year's Eve, Buddha invited animals from all over the world, promising them rare gifts. But only 12 came to him. The Buddha gave each guest one year and one constellation in the celestial sphere. Since then, according to the zodiac calendar, a year has passed under the sign of one or another animal. For example, the upcoming 2015 is the year of the Sheep or the Goat. Name the rest of the animals whose name is the name of the year according to the Eastern calendar (Dragon, snake, horse, monkey, rooster, dog, pig, rat, bull, cat or hare).
2 host: It is believed that the year passing under the sign of the Sheep brings good luck, strengthening friendships, strengthening family ties. But do not forget that the sheep can be a stubborn animal. Try to buck less this year, give in to each other more often, be flexible and soft.
Happy New Year!!!
(Of course, you can add your own contests that suit your contingent).

Goals:

  • educational: increasing motivation for learning, enhancing learning activities.
  • Educational: the formation of friendly relations in the team.
  • Educational: formation of cognitive interest in the world around; the formation of cognitive independence on the basis of creative work in the preparation of gifts and competitions; development of creative abilities of students.

Equipment: chalk, blackboard (or interactive whiteboard), Baba Yaga's broom, 5 chairs, 15 paper snowflakes, 1 balloon, 1 tangerine (or any other fruit), computer, speakers, symbolic prizes for winners and participants in competitions.

Winter is a fabulous time of the year that brings with it a feeling of joy, fun and expectation of a miracle, a sea of gifts and surprises, all this we expect from winter. Trees covered with a snow blanket attract the attention of every person. Fairy-tale nature gives us winter. For many children, this is their favorite time of the year.

On the road in a straight line
Winter came with frost
Winter came to his home -
The snow was pink.
Two blizzards after winter
That snow was blown, shallow,
The snow was blown as they wanted,
And they threw crystals.

Let's listen to the clip "Three White Horses" and sing together.

And what holiday do we celebrate in winter!?

New Year is a favorite holiday for both children and adults. To be honest, every time we hear the chimes, we listen to how the old year is leaving and the new one is coming.

And even if we have long grown out of a fairy tale, but deep down we always want to believe that in the new year everything will turn out at least a little, but better, more successful, happier. Maybe that's why we prepare for this holiday so carefully,

With great desire we choose gifts, prepare delicious things and arrange a holiday for ourselves and our loved ones.

Today the theme of our event is "New Year's Eve". We will remember the traditions, customs of celebrating the New Year in Rus', as well as the traditions of celebrating the New Year in different countries.

1. Magic holiday.

What date was the New Year celebrated in Rus'?

The New Year was celebrated in Ancient Rus' in the spring, in March, when nature woke up from hibernation.

Since the 15th century, the holiday began to be celebrated on September 1, after the harvest. In winter, the New Year began to be celebrated under Peter 1, in 1700.

Tsar Peter issued a decree in which he commanded to celebrate the New Year on the night of January 1. He traveled with the singers to the houses of the boyars and congratulated them. Fires were lit on the streets at that time so that there was a lot of light and heat.

On this day, everyone congratulated each other, decorated houses with pine, juniper and spruce branches, arranged fireworks, lit fires and candles. Each house had a Christmas tree decorated with toys.

Of course, every nation, every people has its own

traditions and examples of the celebration of a particular celebration. important

An attribute of this holiday in almost every country is the New Year tree.

We will not break traditions and decorate the Christmas tree too.

We decorate the Christmas tree together with the children to the clip (A Christmas tree was born in the forest)

Christmas tree lights up
Under her shadows are blue,
prickly needles
As if in white frost.
She thawed out in warmth
Straightened out the needles
And with funny songs
We came to our Christmas tree.
Multicolored toys
For us they hung on it,
And we look at the Christmas tree
And we have fun today.
The lights on the Christmas tree are bright
Everywhere are lit
In all houses, all over the country
The guys are smiling.

Well, the tree, just a miracle,
How elegant, how beautiful.
The branches gently rustle
Beads shine bright
And the toys swing
Flags, stars, crackers.
Here the fires were lit on her,
How many tiny lights!
And, decorating the top,
There it shines, as always,
Very bright, big
Five-winged star.

From which country did the custom of decorating the Christmas tree come from? ( from Germany)

For the first time, the Christmas tree began to decorate in Germany in the Middle Ages. The first toys were apples, nuts and various sweets. Later, the Christmas tree began to be decorated with shiny toys, light bulbs, candles, and a star was hung at the very top. It is a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem, which indicated the birthplace of Jesus.

We will not meet him in the spring,
He won't come in the summer
But in winter to our children
He comes every year.
He has a bright blush
Beard like white fur
Interesting gifts
He will cook for everyone.
Happy New Year congratulations,
Will light a magnificent Christmas tree,
amusing kids,
Get up with us in a round dance.
We welcome him together
We are great friends...
But drink hot tea
This guest is not allowed!

Who is the main character of the New Year?

Father Frost.

Santa Claus in each country is called differently. In America, Canada, the Netherlands and some other countries, he is known as Santa Claus. He is very similar to our Santa Claus, only instead of a fur coat he wears a red jacket and a cap.

The name "Santa Claus" comes from Holland, where St. Nicholas was called Sinterklaas, and his red and white fur coat and hat are reminiscent of the clothes worn by the priest Nicholas in Turkey.

Saita-Klaus lives near the North Pole. He comes to visit the guys on a magic sleigh in a reindeer sleigh. The most important deer is called Rudolf. He has a bright red nose that helps Santa Claus find his way in the dark.

In France, gifts to children are brought by Père Noël. He enters the house through the chimney, and children who do not want to be left without gifts put their shoes in front of a fireplace or stove. Peer Noel is afraid of the cold and is always dressed in all white.

Finnish Santa Claus has long hair and wears a red hat that looks like a long cap and a jacket. He always comes with the dwarves.

Gifts to children in Finland are carried not by Santa Claus himself, but ... by a goat!

His name is Yolupukki. He gives gifts only to children who have behaved well. The goat writes all the pranks of children in his magic book.

In Sweden, Yultomtennen comes to the children along with the dwarf Yulnissar. This is a stooped grandfather, and his nose looks like a bump. He flew to earth three hundred million years ago on a meteorite. More recently, a real house was built especially for him.

Santa Claus arrives in Holland by ship. He brings toys, fruits and candy flowers to the children.

In Italy, the good Fairy Befana flies to the children. She appears at night on a magic broomstick. The fairy quietly fills children's stockings that are hung from the fireplace with gifts.

In Australia, New Year is celebrated in the summer. Santa Claus has a light cap on his head, his shirt is belted with a belt, his pants are tucked into felt boots. He sails on a special board on which they ride on the waves.

In distant Guinea, gifts are distributed by an elephant. To music and songs, he walks the streets.

In Syria, a Bactrian camel delivers gifts to children.

In Turkey, it is believed that the first New Year's Grandfather was the priest Nicholas, who lived at the beginning of our era in the city of Demre. He loved children and often gave them gifts.

Mongolian Santa Claus is very similar to a shepherd. He is dressed in a fur coat and a fox hat.

In China, New Year is the Lantern Festival. They come in various shapes, such as fruits and vegetables. Lanterns are decorated with drawings.

In Brazil, Papa Noel comes to the kids, in Belgium - Saint Nicholas, and in our country everyone knows him as Santa Claus.

At New Year's celebrations, he began to appear at the end of the 19th century. This is an old man with a white beard, in a long red fur coat, studded with stars or snowflakes, and a red hat. He always comes with his granddaughter Snegurochka.
