Managing the mind and mind of a person. Three simple exercises to learn how to control your mind

Our brain is the center of our feelings. It defines behavior and creates our world. It is the brain that perceives and feels. Everything starts in the brain and ends in the brain. How our brain works determines the very quality of our lives: how happy we are, how we communicate with others, how successful we will be in our profession.

“In order to lead the soul to Jesus, it is necessary to know human nature and examine the human mind” TS 4-67.

The brain determines how close or, conversely, how far we are from God. It is in our brains what kind of spouse we will become, how we will do in school, whether we will get irritated with our children, whether we will be consistent in achieving our goals. If our brain works correctly, then, as a rule, we manage to achieve what we want. When the behavior becomes abnormal, it often turns out that there has been some kind of malfunction in the work of our “computer” - the brain. The Lord revealed to us the secret of the preservation of our brain in the Holy Scriptures: “Keep your heart above all things, for out of it are the fountains of life.” . Proverbs 4:23. God here means, of course, not the heart muscle, but our brain, as the focus, the source of thoughts, intentions and our behavior.

limbic system of the brain

“He Who created the mind and knows its possibilities, determined the development of man in accordance with his talents” Vosp. Page 41. “The Holy Scriptures contain the true principles of psychology. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the mind, which is completely consecrated to God, harmoniously develops and receives new forces to achieve and fulfill God's commands. He becomes more perceptive, his judgments become more measured.”

Ministers of the gospel p.285.

  1. The deep limbic system is located at the very center of the brain. The size of a walnut, this system is endowed with a huge number of functions, each of which is critical to human behavior. This part of the brain is responsible for the emotional adjustment of the body. When the activity of this system is reduced, we tend to be in a positive, optimistic frame of mind. If this area is “overheated” or hyperactive, the emotional state of a person worsens. Inflammation in the deep limbic system leads to painful emotionality. This is also supported by new results from studies of depression in other laboratories around the world.
  2. The emotional coloring that our limbic system gives us is a kind of filter through which we perceive all the events that occur. These events acquire emotional coloring depending on the state of the limbic system. (EXAMPLE: you are having a neutral or positive conversation with a person whose limbic system is currently overactive. Your interlocutor will interpret everything said in a negative way).
  3. The deep limbic system of the brain is also responsible for motivation and aspirations. It helps us to "turn on" in the morning, to actions throughout the working day.
  4. Deep limbic formations are directly related to a person's ability to form attachments and communicate. It is responsible for the mechanism that enables us to communicate with others.
  5. The limbic system is directly related to the sense of smell. Of the five senses, the olfactory system is the only one in which the sense organ is directly connected to the brain center. Information from other senses (sight, touch, hearing, taste) is first sent to the “transport point” and from there to the destination, that is, to different areas of the brain. This is why smells can have such a powerful effect on our emotional state.
  6. Research confirms that the deep limbic system is larger in women than in men. This gives women a number of advantages, on the one hand, and makes them more vulnerable, on the other. Women are more guided by emotions and express them better than men. It is easier for them to communicate and form attachments. Therefore, women are more involved in raising children. There is not a single society on earth where it would be the other way around. For the same reason (larger sizes of OTC drugs), a woman is more prone to depression. Women are three times more likely to attempt suicide.

GLS functions:

  • Determines our emotional state;
  • Determines which events are internally significant;
  • Keep emotional memory of bright events;
  • Regulate motivation;
  • Control appetite and sleep-wake cycles;
  • Manages the formation of attachments;
  • Directly controls the sense of smell.

The malfunction of the SFS is caused by external circumstances that destroy the already existing attachments between people. The three most common are:

Death, divorce, empty nest syndrome.

Death

Many grief survivors recall experiencing intense physical pain. This is not a figment of the imagination. Grief often activates pain centers in the brain that are located in the vicinity of the GLS. It is interesting to note that people who have developed a good relationship with the deceased during his lifetime often overcome grief faster than those whose relationship with them was filled with trouble and bitterness. This is explained by the fact that good relationships leave behind good emotional memories, which in turn heal the pain of loss better. Memories of grief and injustice, quarrels and the inability to agree are superimposed with a sense of guilt and the inability to correct something. This does not contribute to the healing of mental wounds and emotional disorders, in contrast to common sense, are deeper. (Common sense is that, in theory, a person should feel relieved: the source of his troubles is gone!)

Divorce

Divorce can be the most stressful thing a person can experience. Sometimes it's harder to lose a spouse to a divorce than to a death. Between people connected at the "limbic level", a strong connection is formed. It is this factor that most often causes a woman's inability to leave an abusive husband. An attempt to break this connection can lead to serious violations and the woman will literally feel inferior, as if, having lost this man, she has lost a part of herself. Indeed, there is rarely more violence between two people than the cruelty of those going through a divorce. They lose all sense of justice and do everything to inflict as much pain on another as possible. That is why God so directly and quite sharply defines his attitude towards divorce: “I hate divorce!” Mal. 2:14-16. (Ukrainian translation)

empty nest syndrome

No matter how difficult adolescence may be for both children and their parents, the strongest bond between them still exists, and its destruction leads to severe stress. Many spouses, having lived together for some time after the children left for independent “swimming”, begin to notice that they have nothing to talk about, there is no need to communicate, a feeling of loneliness, devastation, depression comes. They begin to blame each other for small miscalculations, mistakes and transgressions. This leads to a strong negative mental climate in the family. Breaking up with children sometimes leads to divorce of spouses.

We think about the good. Correction of violations.

“Finally, my brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is glorious, whatever is virtue and praise, think about that.” Philip. 4:8.

Our consciousness has a certain general mood, which is largely determined by what kind of thoughts we visit. When the GLS is hyperactive, the filters of our consciousness work in a "negative" mode. For those who are depressed, thoughts constantly come into their heads, one after another, from which the mood deteriorates even more. About the past - only with regret, about the present - with despondency, and look into the future with anxiety. Due to internal tension, a person may behave in a repulsive way. This, in turn, further isolates him from the outside world. On the contrary, a person with positive thinking and mood radiates a feeling of well-being and confidence, it is easier to communicate with such a person. Positive thinking helps you become more successful in life. What goes on in our heads all the time affects our behavior, can be destructive or give us an additional advantage.

To correct violations of the GLS, you should constantly monitor your own thinking. Unfortunately, there is no place where they teach science, how to think correctly, how to analyze the thoughts that come to our mind. Most people don't realize the important role our thoughts play and don't pay attention to the habits of thought they develop.

Did you know that every thought that comes to your mind sends an electrical impulse to your brain. Thoughts actually have physical properties. They are real! They have a profound effect on every cell in our body. When our mind is burdened with a lot of negative thoughts, this is bad for the state of the FLS and leads to related disorders, which are manifested by irritability, bad mood, depression, etc. One of the most effective ways to feel better is to learn to control your own thoughts.

"You have to deal with problems of thinking that require the exercise of your best intellectual faculties." (R-and-G).

A few steps to help you learn to control your thoughts

STEP 1

Realize that your thoughts are real

  • You have an idea.
  • Your brain releases chemicals.
  • An electrical impulse is sent to the brain.
  • You realize exactly what you are thinking.
  • Thought really influences your feelings.

STEP 2

Pay attention to how a negative thought affects your body

Every time you have an evil thought, an unkind thought, a sad thought, a moody thought, your brain releases chemicals that make your body feel bad and activate the FLS. Do you remember the last time you were angry? How did your body behave during this? For most people, when they are angry, their muscles tighten, their heart rate increases, their palms begin to sweat, sometimes they feel dizzy, and their blood pressure rises. Your body, your organism reacts to every negative thought.

There is another reason for the appearance of spontaneous negative thoughts.

“For thousands of years, Satan has been experimenting on the human mind, and he has studied it quite well. In these last days, by his cunning tricks, he connects the human mind with his own, inspiring man with his thoughts. He does this so cunningly that a person who falls under his influence does not even realize that these thoughts are inspired by Satan at his will. The great deceiver expects to so confuse the minds of men and women that no voice but his own will be heard. MS, p. 111.

STEP 3

Pay attention to how positive thoughts affect the body.

Whenever you have a happy thought, a kind thought, a pleasant, hopeful thought, your brain releases chemicals that make your body feel good. For most people, when they are happy, the muscles are relaxed, the heart beats calmly, the palms are dry, breathing is slower and more even, there is a smile on the face, even if it is not visible in the dark.

“We need a constant sense of the ennobling power of pure thoughts. The only security for every soul is to think right. “As the thoughts are in his soul, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). RHL.

STEP 4

Consider that bad thoughts pollute your thinking.

Thoughts have great power. They can make your body and mind feel good or bad. Every cell in your body is affected by your every thought. That is why, when people experience a strong emotional shock, they often have purely physical disorders - headache, indigestion, etc. (Example: Unpleasant conversations while eating can lead to vomiting, diarrhea).

Doctors believe that people with negative thinking are more prone to cancer. If you can think more positive thoughts, your well-being will improve. Negative thoughts pollute your mind, your body and FLS in the same way that pollution of the natural environment in the vicinity of a big city pollutes your breath, trees, fruits in gardens and orchards.

STEP 5

Realize that your negative spontaneous thoughts are not always telling you the truth.

If you do not think about how you think, then thoughts come to you automatically and they are not necessarily correct. Your thoughts do not always tell you the truth, and sometimes they even lie to you. You should not believe every thought that comes to your mind. It is very important to keep track of whether they help you or hinder you. Unfortunately, if you never examine your thoughts, you start to just believe them as if they were all true.

STEP 6

Argue with negative spontaneous thoughts

You can train your mind to work positively and give you hope, or you can let it stay negative and frustrate you. This is your choice. One way to change your mindset is to catch yourself thinking negatively again and responding to those thoughts. When you remove, correct, or stop bad thoughts, you take away their power over you.

“The power of self-restraint is increased by constant exercise, and in the end what at first seems difficult to do will become easier and easier through constant repetition until right thoughts and actions become a habit. If we will, we can turn away from everything unworthy and low, rise to a higher standard, become respected people and beloved of God. Ministry of Healing, p. 491.

STEP 7

Correct the routes of your thoughts

Imagine that your brain is a big railroad with many routes that have freight trains running in different directions. They have already been worked out, docked, approved by us and work perfectly according to their schedules. Each such compound is a NEGATIVE SPONTANEOUS THOUGHT (NSM). They rumble, do not give rest, sometimes fly by without stopping, and sometimes remain at our station for a long time. If this is one such rumbling compound, what else can you stand. And if there are 10, 20 or 30? It becomes unbearable. How long do these "trains" rumble in our head? We allow them to do this, it has become our habit, and this way of thinking will bring us to destruction.

“And do not flatter yourselves with the hope that the sins you have cherished for a while can be easily abandoned. This is wrong. Each cherished sin steadily weakens the character and strengthens pernicious habits. The result of this is physical, mental and moral decay. You can repent of your wrong deeds and return to the right path, but your mentality, formed in long contact with sin, will make it difficult to clearly distinguish between good and evil. And the bad habits you have formed will be used by Satan to attack you again and again.” Object Lessons, p. 281.

It is necessary to put in order the work of the "station" of your brain. One way to deal with rattling train cars is to write down these thoughts and respond to them. For example: "My husband never listens to me." Write it down. Then write a reasonable answer next to her: “He is not listening to me now because he does not have time or something distracts him. He usually listens to me." By writing down negative thoughts and responding to them, you deprive them of their power, and your well-being improves significantly.

Ways to control thoughts

There are nine ways your thoughts can make you think things are worse than they really are. Think of it as nine "Freight Trains" running through your head.

ROUTE #1. Thoughts from the category "EVER OR NEVER".

Let's say your husband is annoyed by something, he is upset and raises his voice. The thought immediately comes to your mind: “He always yells at me!”, Even if he does not raise his voice so often. However, the mere thought “he is always yelling at me” is so unpleasant that it upsets you in itself. Thus, it upsets your limbic system. Do not use words from the category of "all or nothing." (For example: forever, always, never, nobody, everyone, all the time). Very popular expressions are created from these words: “He always sets me up”, “Everyone uses me”, “Everything is not right with me”, etc. “Freight stock” from the category “forever or never” is extremely common on our mental "railway". Once you catch yourself in these "absolute" categories, stop this rumbling line-up and force yourself to remember cases that disprove these claims.

ROUTE #2. Focus on the bad.

In this case, your thoughts reflect only the negative side of the situation and ignore any positive. If several people gave you a positive assessment of the event you held, you are satisfied and grateful. But then two more came up and told you that not everything was so wonderful, which statements will make a stronger impression? Of course those two. Why? We have focused our attention on the negative. It looks like a fly in the ointment in a barrel of honey. Negativity spoils our well-being if we stop our attention on it. It's like a noisy train rumbled and broke the peace and quiet. Let's remember the way to divert attention from the negative and write a thought on a piece of paper. In contrast, write a positive on this topic.

Our FLS can learn a lot from Eleanor Porter's book "Polyanna". Focusing on the bad in any situation will make you feel bad. I do not urge to look at the world through rose-colored glasses. I suggest that you actively look for the good in order to balance with positivity and optimism the world in which you so often experience negativity.

ROUTE №3. Clairvoyance and Mind Reading.

This refers to cases when, thinking about future events, from several options for the development of a situation, a person chooses the most unfavorable. Imagine that you are driving home from work and paint yourself the following picture: the apartment is a rout, and no one is waiting for you. By the time you drive up to the house, you have already tuned in to the scandal. And as soon as you see that some thing is not in its place or that the family does not rush to meet you, you explode and thereby spoil the whole evening. "Rumbling Predictor Compound" made you feel really bad. Predictions of this kind are extremely harmful, because by expecting something unpleasant, you are literally forcing the unpleasant thing to happen.

It's even worse if we think we know what other people are thinking. “She is angry with me!”, “He said these words about me”, “They did it on purpose to show me…”. It must be remembered that if suddenly a person looked at you the wrong way, this does not mean that he has claims against you. The look may be related to the problem of the person and his well-being (headache or constipation). You cannot read other people's minds. You can't know what other people really think until they tell you. This applies even to people very close to you. If you don't understand something, ask the person to explain. From such a "roaring, harmful composition" in the head should be disposed of as soon as possible.

ROUTE №4. THINKING WITH FEELINGS.

This happens when you recklessly trust your negative feelings. You say to yourself: "I feel that this is not so, so it is so." Meanwhile, feelings are a complex phenomenon, often they are based on vivid experience from the past. Feelings often deceive, but many trust their feelings, their feelings, despite the fact that they have no evidence that these feelings are correct. When such a freight train moves, its first thought is: “I FEEL ...” And it starts: “I feel that they will not believe me”, “I feel that you do not love me”, “I feel like a loser”, etc. e. As soon as a strong negative feeling comes to you, discard it. Check to see if it's backed up. Is there any real reason to think so? Or are your feelings based on past events? Separate reality from sensations.

ROUTE №5. GUILT.

Guilt does not help us to live. This is especially true of the deep limbic system. In fact, guilt often makes us act against our will. This manifests itself when we begin to think in terms of "Must", "Must", "Have to". “I have to do this”, “I have to make time for the children”, “I definitely need to clean the office.”

The peculiarity of our psyche is such that as soon as we think that we owe something, we automatically begin not to want it. Other wording should have been used: “I want to do this,” “It is in our best interest if we spend more time with the children,” “I want to please my husband and clean the office.” Etc. Guilt is not productive in some cases. It is good only if the guilt is really present and it is necessary to get rid of the sin.

ROUTE No. 6. SHORTCUTS.

As soon as you "attach" a negative label to yourself or someone else, you lose the opportunity to look at the situation objectively. Examples of negative labels are “stupid”, “I don’t understand this”, “he is irresponsible”, “rude”, “arrogant”, etc. Negative labels are extremely harmful, because whenever you use one of them in relation to to yourself or to others, you subconsciously associate this person or yourself with all the "rude" or "irresponsible" you have met before. Thus, you deprive yourself of the opportunity to communicate with him as a separate person. Stay away from negative labels.

ROUTE No. 7. SEARCH FOR THE GUILT.

The search for the guilty is extremely harmful. Blaming something or someone for your own problems, you yourself become a passive victim of circumstances and make it extremely difficult to change this situation. Firstly, you lose the person walking next to you, blaming him for the causes of difficulties, and secondly, you will never solve problems like that. A constructive approach in such situations is to cancel the "commodity stock" that interferes with building normal thinking. When we blame others for our problems, we are unable to change our lives. This dubious “blame game” hampers our ability to influence what happens. Refrain from accusatory thoughts. We must take personal responsibility for our own difficulties before we begin to resolve them.

Not so easy - CHANGE YOUR THINKING. This is a lot of work. But if we try to do it ourselves, then we will not reach the ultimate goal of thought control. In each such situation, we must remember that every day is a struggle for our souls, for our minds. The Spirit of Prophecy gives us universal advice if we notice that our thoughts are weighing us down and we are not coping with them.

“Dedicate yourself, your soul, body and spirit to God every morning. Make a habit of your dedication and trust your Savior more and more. Tell Him in the morning at the beginning of the day, “I only own one day. And on this day, I will do the best I can. I will use my speech talent to be a blessing to others. I will show patience, kindness, indulgence, so that Christian virtues develop in me today.

"We need the transforming grace of God to make right use of our thinking faculties." RHL, p. 779.

They say that the possibilities human brain are not limited. Indeed, how much information for our life is placed in it - necessary and unnecessary! One information is in demand by us, we periodically use it, we would be happy to forget the other, but for some reason it persistently pursues us, and, in practice, uses us. Is it possible to learn to remember what we need and forget those events, the memories of which hurt us? Is it possible to not think about anything at all?

Remembering the right information

Everyone probably remembers childhood that the best way to learn a verse is to imagine visually described events and actions. This technique can be safely used to memorize the necessary information. Our brain responds very well to associations. Moreover, the more ridiculous and non-standard the association is, the more likely it is to remember.

Can memorize any word (the title of a movie, a book, a stop), causing in its own a slightly strange association with the name itself, or any other extraneous one, and then simply "bind" the resulting association to the desired object as a neighbor. To formulate an association, choose words or objects that are not related in meaning. For example, a crocodile and soap. Think of how they can be connected, and it is this stupidity that the brain will remember with pleasure, and with it the word or name you need. Think of a crocodile in a bubble bath, and the title of the book will immediately come to mind.

An equally efficient way remember is to evoke vivid emotions at the moment of memorization. Well, for example, you can have an English lesson in an unusual setting: riding a bike, walking in the pouring rain, or just on a picnic. You will see, any topic against the background of emotional events will "crash" into your memory for a long time. The easiest way to remember events that we often use in everyday life is to associate it with a song. And now, as soon as the familiar melody sounds, you immediately remember "the very technique of weaving macrame".

How to forget troubles?

Emotions seem to at all are not connected with the brain, but very clearly imprint information in it. This explains our vivid memories of the unpleasant events that we experienced. Stress, pain, disappointment, resentment - all these are emotions that helped the brain remember events, and now it repeats them to us again and again. You can try to get rid of painful memories. Replace the emotion in the memory picture. The most suitable emotion would be humor. Imagine a "cinema in reverse", and mentally go back to the beginning of your unpleasant story. Now imagine that events unfold a little differently.

For example, Your abuser- a fairy-tale character in a funny wig and with a "cartoon" voice. Or you can imagine yourself in a comedic role, and play an unpleasant situation as a funny scene. Exaggerate, don't be afraid! Let everything come to the most ridiculous and absurd. Laugh heartily, get a bright emotion. As a rule, such an event with two "impositions" of emotions is erased, it becomes unimportant for the brain. He will look for brighter events to remember.

How else can you delete unnecessary thoughts? And try to "erase" it! Any method of erasing information will do. You can imagine a blackboard with your negative thoughts written in chalk, and just wipe them off with a rag. Or use modern methods, they are easy enough to visualize. Do you know how to format a disk? Format! Imagine a window on the monitor screen with the question "Delete information?" Click "Yes"! There is also a "Delete" key on the keyboard, use it. Unnecessary information will not go away immediately, erase more often, several times and carefully. This technique works well with negative thoughts that spontaneously "hang out" in our head, making it difficult to live normally and enjoy.

Instruction

Think about the other side of the problem.
The easiest way to manage is to think about the opposite. If you are angry with someone - remember something kind and good, if you are excited - imagine yourself in a quiet and peaceful place.

Reflect thoughts on .
Recall some of your bad thoughts and desires and imagine that it has become a reality. You cheated on your soul mate with, beat your boss, threw the TV out of the window ... Think about how much suffering this could bring to you and other people.

Get away from your thoughts.
Present your thoughts in a slideshow, as if they were not your thoughts, but just separate ones. They have no influence on you, they do not need to believe or rely on them.

Find the source of thoughts.
Thoughts always have a source, and that source is emotions. Emotions are the body's reaction to an external stimulus.
To find the root of the problem, you need to grab hold of the emotion, look at it from the outside, understand it.
Imagine your thoughts in the idea of emotions, sensations. Neither emotions nor feelings can be right or wrong until you embody them. Just accept your emotions and relax.
Restore feelings and thoughts will disappear.

Fight thoughts.
There are a couple of ways to deal with your thoughts.
Come up with a word that you will use to stop yourself, for example, “stop”, “no”. And if an unwanted thought crept into your head, drive it away with your magic word.
You can also get rid of the thought with mini-corporal punishment. For example, put a rubber band on your hand and pull it back, clicking on your hand when necessary.

This program is not completed in one day, even if you really want to. Each stage requires a minimum of 1 day.

Helpful advice

When you drove away a thought, a gap formed in its place and it must be filled with some other thoughts.

Heavy thoughts interfere with work, hinder pleasant communication, steal your good mood and do not allow you to live joyfully. It is quite possible to master thoughts. Moreover, if you do this regularly, then no thoughts can dominate you, life will become more beautiful and happier.

Instruction

Bear in mind that it is impossible to stop thoughts. Directing them in the other direction is also not an option, since they will still return to the source of anxiety. You can calm them down by chatting with friends, watching an interesting movie or loud music, but there is a better way. The most humane method of calming thoughts is meditation. A technique that mankind has known for hundreds of thousands of years.

You can meditate in the forest, by the fire, on the bus, at home and even in the office. Watching a living fire, the flow of a river, the sunset or sunrise will noticeably calm your thoughts. Sometimes it only takes 15-20 minutes. This is visual meditation.

To calm very heavy thoughts, try meditating in silence with your eyes closed. Ask your loved ones not to disturb you for about an hour, remove the sources of sounds: phones, laptops, players. Sit in a comfortable position with the lights off or in the dark. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Continue to inhale and exhale, constantly watching them. Soon you will notice how thoughts begin to come to you. Do not try to stop or extinguish them. On the contrary, watch how the thought came and then disappeared. Let them be, let them come and go like white clouds passing by you.

At first, it may not be so easy for you to constantly focus on your breath, but with practice you will get used to it. If you go after a thought and get distracted from meditation, do not reproach yourself for it. Take a look at the breath and keep watching.

When you learn to watch your breath, try to watch what happens in the moment between thoughts. Here the thought came, here it is, here it goes. Then there are a few moments before the arrival of the next thought. Watch them. Once you get good at it, you will find this practice very interesting.

Tip 3: How to get out of the control of your thoughts and feelings

The excessive influence of emotional and thought processes on a person's behavior does not always work in his favor. This leads to excessive anxiety during the day, and also affects decision making and goal setting in a bad way. Also, excessive mental activity takes a huge amount of energy from a person, leaving his body weak and lifeless.

What can a person do to get out of the yoke of his own mind? Many are accustomed to the idea of fighting with their inner world, trying to distract it with some external factors. It can be various entertainments, the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Less often - a deep immersion in labor activity, up to bringing oneself into a state of complete exhaustion.

This happens because the European world does not tend to see other ways of solving its internal problems.

Fortunately, there is a simple technique that will help anyone who wants to achieve a sense of balance and peace of mind.

It is worth trying to change the resistance to thoughts and emotions to their acceptance. At first glance, this may seem difficult, but oddly enough, it is enough to do nothing with them. In other words, stop adding fuel to the fire. You can ask yourself the question “can I let my thoughts be?”. If this fails, it makes sense to try a variety of relaxation practices, including meditation or yoga positions.

After these phenomena have been accepted, a new possibility opens up to a person, called observation. That is, now he can look from the outside at his mental forms and feelings, without getting involved in them. And in the presence of close observation, they tend to slow down and then dissolve, leaving behind only a background sense of calm.

In general, the essence is close to meditation. And to be more precise - to its active version, without sitting in silence and elements of relaxation. Perhaps the advice about observation may seem difficult, especially for those people who are constantly involved in their feelings and reasoning. But in fact, it is enough to pay attention to the information from the organs of perception: the world around us, its sounds, smells, tactile sensations on the skin. This will help to shift the focus of consciousness from its phenomena to its observation. After all, in the final analysis, a person is already this “silent observer”.

A real story from the life of a man who worked with his subconscious. Ivan lived a calm and measured life. It seemed to him that he would not be able to achieve the desired heights, to the extent of his shyness and indecision. His plans rarely ended in success, as anxiety and fear of the unknown spoiled the whole mood.

By the age of 30, he had not been able to fulfill a single serious plan. Surrendering at the last moment is a way out that Ivan used for many years, until he decided to change himself and his perception of the surrounding reality.

He began the process of implementing his plans by studying the literature on the topic of self-development. The real discovery for the young man was the work of John Kehoe. He read book after book, and over time began to practice the presented techniques for working with the subconscious.

A month later, Ivan was able to build a scheme of actions that perfectly suited his personality. They have chosen the best methods for studying their inner world. And after a couple of weeks, communication with the subconscious began to bring results.

Ivan changed his place of work, but remained devoted to his specialty (banking). The authorities immediately noticed his fighting spirit and activity. The promotion was just around the corner, as he was assigned to lead a serious project.

But career changes didn't end there. The young man was able to meet a woman with whom he began a romantic relationship. He began to think about starting a family. Ivan does not want to stop there, as he seeks to know all the facets of his subconscious.

The subconscious mind has unlimited power and influence. If a person does not know how to deal with his inner self, he can incur endless problems. Most of the actions performed, ideas conceived and emotional experiences are directly connected with the subconscious.

It often seems that some unknown force makes you think in a certain direction, controlling all subsequent actions. Such actions are explained by the fact that specific attitudes and programs are formed in the subconscious. They are laid down by the person himself, based on various views, fears, experiences and strong emotions.

An important role in the development of the subconscious world is assigned to the process of education. Parents have a close relationship with their children. Adults convey to them their own understanding and moral views, which are assimilated in the subconscious of a person for life.

Society plays an equally important role. The media are effortlessly able to program people's subconscious. Not always such an influence has a positive effect on a person's life.

Various techniques of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) are used to create special installations. This psychotherapeutic direction is based on the technique of modeling all types of human behavior (verbal, non-verbal).

It is important to note that many creative individuals are people who have learned to direct their internal energy in the right direction, while creating positive attitudes that have a positive effect on the life of a member of society.

“To be creative means to be able to see or imagine various opportunities for solving life's problems. Creativity gives you the right to choose.” (Ernie Zelinsky)

The initial steps of working with the subconscious are based on a detailed analysis of one's own inner world. The deeper you can dig, the more opportunities you can find.

Working with the subconscious requires an individual approach to the matter, since the peculiarities of the character and perception of the reality of each person individually are taken into account. To facilitate the process of self-knowledge, specialists have developed special techniques.

  • reprogramming

It is based on a change in subjective experience and the substitution of familiar patterns. The main task is to form new models of behavior that contribute to the discovery of new opportunities. The process of reprogramming helps to get rid of the negative, because all installations are positive or neutral. A prime example would be meditation or affirmation.

  • Deprogramming

This method abandons the standard avoidance of stereotyped views. Its goals are aimed at the effective solution of existing problems. A person must face their fears and learn to overcome them. Initially, you need to find the cause of the deviation, then analyze it and find a rational way out of the situation. Among such techniques can be noted Dianetic auditing or the BSFF technique.

  • Programming

Programming is characterized by working with a person in a trance state. The technique strives to ensure that consciousness can fully penetrate the sphere of the subconscious, as well as rationally control it and provide a qualitative result. Hypnosis or self-hypnosis is the best choice.

12 rules for working with the subconscious

The human subconscious makes it possible to discover secrets that were previously unknown to people. Having learned to work with him, a person will find new talents in himself, become smarter and more receptive to the world around him. To do this, you must adhere to a number of rules.

  1. Down with negative emotions! Anger, resentment, irritability, dissatisfaction and other negative feelings contradict logical decisions, which are indispensable in working with the subconscious.
  2. Make your thinking work in the right direction. Every day you should get rid of the negative thoughts accumulated during the day. Ideally, you need to learn to control your thoughts and periodically correct them.
  3. Get rid of stereotypes. Do not take all the advice of other people into service. One person's life experience is not always suitable for another. Self-development requires spiritual transformation, and not submission to established concepts.
  4. Don't rush. Controlling the subconscious is not an easy task. It takes time and careful work on yourself. Instant reaction is a rare occurrence in the initial stages.
  5. Get enough sleep. Sleep is a source of vitality and energy, which is necessary to accomplish great things. Fatigue, which accumulates during the day, inhibits the functionality of the body.
  6. Take breaks to rest. You can't get stuck at work for too long. It is recommended to periodically arrange minutes of relaxation for yourself (the optimal number of times is 3-4 per day). 10-20 minutes will be enough to put your thoughts in order. The ideal companions of this process are pleasant music (sounds of nature, classical compositions, songs of favorite bands) and a cozy atmosphere.
  7. Do things that make your heart happy. The subconscious will be grateful for pleasant emotions. The more the body gets pleasure from what has been done, the easier it will be to connect the external world with the internal.
  8. Treat your subconscious as a business partner who provides his services in return for certain actions. Don't forget to pay yourself. As payment, there may be a banal word of praise or a small gift. Please yourself = satisfy your subconscious.
  9. Please yourself in advance, not at the last moment. Good mood is a great motivator. It is not necessary to encourage yourself only after the work has been done, it is better to do this before the planned business.
  10. Say "no" to other people's desires! The priority should be on the things that you crave, not someone else. To make it easier to navigate your thoughts, you can select a small notebook to write down all your desires and thoughts for the future. When you want to complete a task, make sure that it does not contradict the list you have made.
  11. Practice trance (a process during which the state of consciousness changes). Complete relaxation is recommended not only during physical or mental stress, but also on vacation. The brain is always working! This must be remembered. Regular trances will help you better focus on the sensations and emotions that a person is experiencing at one time or another.
  12. Assess your life. You can use a 10-point or 100-point scale. With full satisfaction with your life, without hesitation, put the maximum. If the scores do not suit you, they seem too low, think about which area of your life is working in the wrong direction and try to correct the situation.

conclusions

Learning to work with the subconscious without leaving the comfort zone is almost impossible. To achieve the desired result, you will have to spend a lot of time and effort. To date, there are various methods that take into account the individual characteristics of each person. Everyone can manage the inner "I". It is worth trying to choose for yourself the best way to implement your ideas.

Ek, where enough! It is the mind that controls me. Is it possible to control the mind? Certainly. It is I who develop my mind to solve my problems in the best possible way and be able to manage it. How? And why is it so difficult given? I want to get rid of a bad habit, I try to turn on the mind, but it does not turn on. I want to get rid of depression, but the mind is powerless. I need to cure a serious illness in myself and here the mind can do nothing. Seems like emotions run the show. Isn't the mind created on their basis?.. What a huge number of mistakes we make in life because we do not know how to control the mind. What prevents this? Fear, which we constantly go on about. But he is our protector. If we suppress it so as not to injure, then there will be no one to warn us of the danger. People with bad habits suppress fear, and as a result, for relief from injury, they acquire a disease or a whole bunch of diseases. Now, the age of depressions and stresses that break human nature. Men lose their masculine qualities, women acquire masculine qualities. Love disappears, families collapse, society degrades. If the process is not stopped, then the degradation of the human personality can lead humanity to degeneration without any wars. How can one slow down the process of degradation and return to a person his natural correctness, in which a man is a male, a breadwinner, and a woman is a female, a mother, a keeper of the hearth, and everyone should develop according to their natural destiny? Otherwise, the woman will become a "man - a woman", and the man will not be able to reproduce. Already, the trend in this direction is growing ominously. To do this, one must learn to control the mind, which will build everything in accordance with natural correctness. Why does a man's potency and ability to reproduce offspring decrease (many women are also not able to get pregnant)? Due to stress, overwork, malnutrition, lack of sleep and rest, monotonous rhythm of life. Plus, this is all aggravated by alcohol, fascination with gajiits, etc. But all this is a consequence of a lack of intelligence. In order to bring everything back to normal, we must learn to use the mind, manage it and contribute to its development. It is even difficult to imagine how you can control the mind. In fact, the technique is simple, but difficult to implement. The mind is a vision (concentration of attention and its dispersal are two in one). In order to activate the mind, it is necessary to stabilize attention to such an extent that fear and aggression, two opposites, mutually balance each other. To keep balance. Thoughts can be formed in any way, but the steady attention that forms the "ray of reason" will prevent a steady shift to extremes. Fear will prevent aggression from gaining excessive dominance, aggression will not allow thoughts to fall into fear wounds. Connecting and intertwining, these two opposites will give a meaningful perception of reality. The "Ray of Reason", which unites all the information together, can concentrate on any task that needs to be solved and search on an intuitive level while concretizing. Intuitive possibilities are much higher than logical ones. Information can be dissolved in the "zero space" and from it, extracted and shuffled in any combination, almost without energy expenditure, since information is neutral. Holding the vision will help avoid depression, because the desired will not be torn off from the real and “castles in the air” will not be built, which will surely collapse, which will cause depression, forcing you to abandon plans that have failed. Vision does not allow self-deception and uses the truth based on a two-sided assessment of reality. When I see, I understand; when I understand, I act. The truth is not always pleasant, but when you see it, you realize its necessity, which must be followed. By steadying your attention, you control your mind and become the master of your desires. But what about the mistakes accumulated throughout life, what to do with them? Will they counteract the mind and it is almost impossible to comprehend all of them? With the stabilization of attention, and this is a struggle, thoughts are drawn out (“stakes of fear”) from all the wounds of fear accumulated throughout life, up to the emotional memory of the ancestors, where their breakdowns are stored, inherited. There will be a redirection of energy flows from the wounds of fear (psychotrauma) into reality, as a result of which the wounds of fear are deprived of nourishment (an influx of irritations) and increased significance. They cease to live in the mode of self-irritation, they are balanced by the opposite, they are comprehended and abolished (they pass into a neutral state, which ceases to impede the free movement of thought). The struggle for vision takes a lot of energy, therefore, in order to recover, you need to get enough sleep and not overwork. With the help of vision, you can get rid of bad habits (in combination with sleep), psychotrauma, restore incinerated feelings, and cure diseases. I personally, in three sessions, saved a guy whom the doctors had discharged from the hospital home to die as hopeless. Helped him to get out of his obsession with the disease and redirect his attention to reality, after which the recovery went automatically. The basic principle in the treatment of any disease: restore balance - the disease will go away. On the one hand, the pain must be allowed to come out and this task is solved, first of all, by deep sleep, on the other hand, to redirect energy flows (thoughts) from fixation on the wounds of fear, into reality, into action, and not into self-criticism. Nature has not yet come up with a simpler technique for normalizing the psyche and health. There is nothing unnatural in the control of consciousness (mind). If you want to understand something, you need to peer into it, see it, and then the solution will be searched for automatically, through the control of your desire of the mind. The energy of desire is directed to finding a solution to the problem and action to implement it. The mind must not only be controlled, but also expanded its capabilities, by increasing the concentration of attention and its dispersal (relaxation). The higher the degree of concentration of attention, the further you look and the more voluminous and wider you will see. At the same time, there should always be free ways of retreat if suddenly something goes wrong. Thinking must be flexible, mobile and ready for any change. Vision allows you to save animal instincts in their original form and human qualities. In combination, in association, they form the mind, in which all the systems of the body and he himself live in an optimal mode for them, called HARMONY. And how to resist stress, not overwork at work, get enough sleep when the schedule is so tight that there is not enough time for anything? It is the vision (reason) that allows you to sort out everything and organize your activities in such a way that you can do everything and at the same time not overwork. It is enough to slow down the rhythm with the help of vision and stop running, as the significance will change, strength will increase and they will begin to be spent pointwise and economically. The main thing will be seen and there will be enough time and energy for everything. November 12, 2014
