Self-perfection of the soul. Spiritual self-development

Spiritual practice, which allows a person to develop himself and the world around him, is, without exaggeration, the most important component of our harmonious life. We complain about the superficiality and spoiledness of children, their lack of interest in reading, their excessive enthusiasm for computer games and cartoons of dubious quality. Technological progress and an increase in the standard of living and comfort lead to the fact that children have an overabundance of toys, entertainment, and clothing. Their attention is so defocused on all these unimportant trifles that the most important thing - emotional attachment and respect for parents - the kids simply no longer have energy left. By placing children in such conditions of "comfort", we ourselves contribute to the growth of their excessive selfishness and exactingness.

Today, one of the most common phenomena in child psychiatry is child aggression. Unlike adult aggression, this phenomenon is most often characterized by the fact that it does not have pronounced, simultaneously manifested, open causes. An adult falls into a state of irritability or anger, most often having at least a clear, specific reason for this. Children, on the other hand, often express their hostility in unexpected situations, without obvious grounds. Nevertheless, the reason for such behavior is quite weighty - the lack of spiritual comfort, the lack of understanding that the child is loved, and not dismissed from him by numerous toys and entertainment. The best pastime, in which your children will feel calm and kind to the world around them, is joint activities with their parents. Activities that require the direct involvement of an adult in the process (drawing, modeling, construction, joint outdoor games and walks). After all, all these actions for the child will be colored by the joy of your time together.

Children do not have unloved games or toys, but there are insufficiently attentive parents. This has even been proven by psychological experiments. For example, a mother was asked to choose from a mountain of toys the one that is the least popular with the baby, with which he almost never plays and shows no interest in her. For some time, the mother played with the child every day with the participation of this toy, and after a few days she attracted the most attention of the baby. He independently reached out to her and initiated the game. This happened precisely because, at the sight of this toy, the child (even if he was at an age when the psyche and nervous system were not completely formed) recalled the positive emotions that he received at the moments when his mother was nearby and gave him all her attention.

Now think about whether such children and children whose parents distract all their attention with gadgets, cartoons shown around the clock on TV, sweets, attractions and other entertainments will have the same attitude towards the world around them? In the end, these children will associate their parents only with a source of pleasure, since they are deprived of their sincere interest and attention. And how can they benevolently perceive the world around? It turns out that there is no peace in their soul, but only an endless race for new purchased entertainment. As soon as these entertainments are inaccessible for various reasons, the reaction “they don’t like me” turns on. The result is a complete rejection of the surrounding reality.

So it turns out that we often characterize the younger generation as more aggressive, mercantile, spoiled and cheeky. They say that today's children have no spirituality at all. Of course, modern education and the values imposed on young people by the media are aimed at eradicating even the rudiments of this very spirituality. The one who has the spiritual will not buy much material, which means that he is an unprofitable consumer. However, we forget that the first school of life for a person who has come into this world is a family. The first people, thanks to whom the image of the whole society and the whole vast world is laid in the mind of the child, are the parents. There is a wonderful wise proverb: “Do not try to raise children, they will still look like you. Educate yourself." So instead of reading tons of books on child psychology, attending various seminars and getting lost in mountains of information in an effort to raise your children right, start leading a healthy and spiritual lifestyle yourself.

The concept of "spirituality" exists in the cultures of all peoples and in all religions. In Rus' since ancient times there was a moral principle "to live in conscience and in harmony with nature." In Yoga, spirituality is introduced and consolidated at the very first steps of practice and represents ten ethical standards of behavior - Yama and Niyama (non-harming, truthfulness, non-theft, abstinence, etc.). In Christianity, these rules are expressed in the form of ten commandments.

Thus, the whole life of a person is permeated with the subtlety and loftiness of the universal laws, according to which the entire universe exists and which must be respected and observed by all living beings. In the age of Kali Yuga, the clouded human consciousness rarely remembers this. In order to remember the existence of higher and more powerful forces, a person usually needs to go through a severe shock, misfortune, loss. Only then do we understand that we are not the kings of nature, and very little is subject to us in this world. Namely, only we ourselves, and we have very little time allotted to work on ourselves in this life. What practices can help a person raise his spiritual level?

The practice of altruism

Perhaps this is the most important principle of the harmonious coexistence of the soul with the Universe and its development. Its meaning is to give to others more than we keep to ourselves. There is an old wise saying: “What you give is yours, what you leave is gone.” Indeed, we have very little time on this planet. If we spend our life energy only on ourselves, all our efforts, our whole life will be in vain. When we leave this world, we will not take it with us. But we can use the same energy to launch a series of good and good deeds into the world around us. And then our effort will not be wasted, because this chain will go further. Each person will make a little effort to maintain it, and it will become longer and stronger. The consequences of it will increase and benefit both the recipients of our efforts and ourselves. Just imagine how the whole planet will win then, in what kind of world our children will live!

A conscious decision to become parents is already to some extent a manifestation of altruism. As the saying goes, “deciding to have a baby means agreeing that from now on and forever your heart will run separately from you.” Yes, this can be considered the first step towards altruism. After all, earlier the object of your care and responsibility was mainly yourself. Now a soul comes to your family, which will forever be connected with you. And at least at first, this soul will need all your care, attention, strength, and most importantly and valuable - your patience. The current generation of young people has been raised by a certain system to be extremely infantile. Many of us have claims to our parents about how our childhood passed, how we were brought up, what they taught. We consider ourselves much more developed intellectually, the authority of our parents does not exist for us. That is why, only having independently gone through the path of raising children, we can fully understand how much effort it cost our parents, show our egoism how much was sacrificed for the sake of our carefree life in contentment. The basis of all altruism is patience. The highest achievement in a person's life is not only the constant preservation of patience, but also the extension of it to all the people around. After all, every living being has either been your child in the past or will be your child in the future. How can you not be kind to him?

From birth, all of us are characterized by unconscious egoism, not only in order to survive in this world (a baby cannot endure hunger and cold), but also in order to understand the rules of life in the world. The more conscious our age becomes, the less selfishness should remain in us. We have already grown up, we are able to give up something in order to benefit our neighbor. This is what it means to be Human. If your child sees that your actions are as good as possible and are aimed primarily at the development of other people, such behavior will also become his ideal. Moreover, a child needs to demonstrate altruistic behavior from the first days of his life, since until a certain age (up to two - two and a half years) children do not perceive our moralizing due to the peculiarities of the formation of the human psyche. But they very carefully notice all the nuances of our behavior, all actions and deeds. Due to the lack of life experience at this age, there are no concepts of “good” and “bad” for them. But for them there are concepts "like mom" and "like dad." And, of course, they do not understand whether you are doing good or bad. For them, everything that parents do is setting good, correct, adult behavior. The great Soviet teacher V. A. Sukhomlinsky wrote: “When my children begin to live in a team, my first concern is that the biggest misfortune of each child is someone else’s misfortune, the greatest joy and consolation was the thought that he brought joy to another person”. Accordingly, in order for your children to grow up worthy, you yourself need to live accordingly. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama once said, “If I have a certain degree of compassion, it is because of the grain that my mother planted in my heart, and not at all religious practices. Of course, later Buddhist training was very conducive to the altruistic mindset sprouting from this seed. But I got the grain from my mother.” By giving, you will never lose anything.

Practices of spiritual self-improvement.

To maintain our own energy at the proper level in the modern consumer society, Yoga offers us a wide range of tools. All these techniques are very ancient means of developing oneself and the world around. In terms of spiritual self-improvement, the most effective for the knowledge of our inner world are practices pranayama, mantrayana and concentration of the mind (meditation), reading spiritual scriptures . These techniques help not only to accumulate energy, but, most importantly, to change the quality of the energy that is formed in the subtle channels of a person as a result of his daily activities. Living in this world, we are constantly exchanging energy with the people who surround us. Accordingly, the lifestyle, worldview and addictions of these people can enter our consciousness. And it is precisely in order to separate one's own view of the world from someone else's and improve the quality of one's own energy that it is necessary to engage in spiritual practices. This is the so-called "energy hygiene". The positive effect of constantly maintaining one's soul in purity, morality and virtue will certainly spread to the external environment, that is, to our environment. After all, the most important principle of working on oneself sounds like this: "Change yourself - the world around you will change." It is by making efforts for our own development that we will be able to create a world for the quality life of our children.

Why is it so important to start practicing Yoga before inviting the soul of a child into your family? Because only a reflection of our inner world can be born in us. If a man and a woman live in obscurations, unconsciously, then a soul at the same level of development will incarnate in their family. Will such a family be happy? There is a very high probability that parents with a child will pull each other lower and lower, towards the degradation of consciousness, which is so facilitated today by the media and the images installed in our consciousness. However, if future parents devote several years to developing in themselves such qualities as sanity, kindness, goodness, altruism, a soul of the appropriate level will come to them. After all, beings from higher, more perfect worlds have the opportunity to choose in which family to incarnate.

As the Scriptures say, when Buddha Shakyamuni, while on the planet Tushita, heard the request of living beings to descend into our world to give the Teaching, he chose for his birth the representatives of the great Sun Shakya family - King Shuddhodana and his wife, Queen Maha Maya. Also, enlightened souls have the opportunity to choose which parents to be born in order to continue their path of development. Such a soul will bring much less anxiety, trouble and sorrow to parents than if it were born in modern consumers. After all, selfishness is the most severe spiritual disease. If everyone (parent and child) pulls the blanket over himself, there will be constant strife, aggression, lack of kindness, care and understanding in the family. Between the needs of others and their own needs, the child will choose the concept of “for himself”, because this is how his parents once lived.

The well-known researcher of energy and the human field S. N. Lazarev writes in his work “Diagnostics of Karma”: “ Then I treated patients directly and did not imagine that after a while I would be able to see the souls of future children, diagnose them and treat them. I didn’t know yet that in our field there are, as it were, matrices of dwellings for the souls of future children and they can be polluted, that is, the release of “dirt” into the future can stain the souls of descendants up to the 3rd, 7th, 13th generation, and so on. … Now, in order for a harmonious child to be born, parents need to purify their souls. Or, after his birth, they will be cleansed through illness and misfortune.. Lazarev also notes that not only the karmic pollution of the parents affects the quality of life of the child, but also how the child will live will affect the purity of the karma of his parents.

Just Yoga allows you to change karma not through suffering and pain in everyday life, but through the experience of austerities in practice. Asceticism is called voluntary self-restraint in pleasures and entertainments, the gradual experience of discomfort of the body and mind during the practice of asanas, pranayama, meditation. Thus, by devoting a few years to your own development, you can become the parents of a child with higher spiritual qualities than it could be if you did not put effort into yourself and were a “normal consumer”. Such a soul will allow you to develop further and will itself evolve thanks to your efforts, it will have a so-called “high start” already at birth. The life of such a child will be much more effective both for him and his family, and for the whole planet.

Hatha yoga. In the classic work of the XV century "Hatha Yoga Pradipika", compiled by Swatmarama, the concept of "Hatha Yoga", in addition to pranayama, which was mentioned above, includes 2 more aspects: shatkarmas and asanas. Consider each of these concepts, as well as the effects they have on a person.

Shatkarma

Shatkarmas are a system of certain cleansing techniques for the body. For thousands of years, these practices have allowed a person to maintain his body healthy and clean. All newfangled "cleansing" of the internal organs is just based on the principles of the human body, which were addressed by the sages of the past. At all times, people understood that a living human body periodically needs “cleaning”, that is, body hygiene should be not only external, but also internal. These practices allow you to remove impurities and toxins from such important organs as the stomach, intestines, liver, respiratory tract, organs of vision, etc., to heal and rejuvenate the whole body. They are described in detail in the ancient texts on Yoga, which are now available for review: "Hatha Yoga Pradipika", "Gheranta Samhita". In addition, today there are many comments on these practices by authors of the 20th and 21st centuries in the form of books or numerous articles on the Internet. Nevertheless, it is strongly not recommended to master purification practices only from written sources. It is most correct and adequate to do this under the guidance of a competent person with the necessary experience. And only after the correct development of a particular technique, you can continue to practice it from time to time on your own.

During the preparation of both partners for conception, shatkarmas are a healthy alternative to various synthetic vitamins or dietary supplements to maintain the immunity and health of a woman and a man in general. However, it must be remembered that this system is aimed mainly at the prevention of diseases and ailments. If a person already has health problems, the use of shatkarmas will be limited by a number of contraindications, which must be familiarized with before practicing any of these cleansing actions.

It would seem that the shatkarma system as a prevention of various diseases of the body, although it allows us to do without medicines and the intervention of modern medicine, is still aimed at working purely with the physical body and has nothing to do with spiritual development. However, this is not at all the case. Here we need to get acquainted with such a concept as “apana-vayu”. The human body consists of energies of different quality and properties contained in different parts of the body. Apana-vayu is the heaviest and lowest energy, which grounds us too much and does not allow consciousness to grow and rise up. This vayu (energy) is associated with the reproductive and excretory systems of the body and, accordingly, is always directed downward. Its location in the body is the area from the navel to the feet. It is with this energy that we work with the help of various practices of Yoga at different levels in order to raise the energy and our spiritual qualities higher. With subtle practices, we resist the force of gravity, which all the time strives to lower our consciousness to the level of satisfying primary needs and receiving primitive pleasures like delicious food or regular intercourse. Many shatkarmas influence the flow of this energy and purify this area. As a result, it becomes easier for the practitioner to achieve any subtle results by changing the energy currents and the ratio of their proportions in the body. If a person has any addictions or addictions (for example, bad habits), shatkarmas can significantly change the situation in a positive direction. Also, these techniques help to improve the functioning of many body systems, which ultimately allows the couple to approach the moment of conception of a child cleaner at the level of body and energy than it could manifest itself and affect both the baby and the life of the whole family as a whole.

Asanas

The effect of asanas is similar to the effect of shatkarmas - this is a study and a qualitative change in the body not only on the physical, but also on the energy level. However, if in shatkarmas we are required to perform from time to time a well-defined set of actions that specifically affects the body, then with asanas everything is more difficult. The fact is that the systematic application of efforts to perform exercises on the mat is almost always controlled exclusively by our head. No biological processes, as in the case of the use of shatkarmas, will occur by themselves. Thus, regularly performing asanas for 1-2 hours, we develop what in Yoga is called tapas, and in the West (in a more simplified version) - willpower. We consciously undergo some discomfort (austerities) and purify ourselves energetically through work with the body. Here we also often work with apana-vayu. It is not for nothing that the most difficult positions for beginners to master are usually poses aimed at working out the flexibility of the ligaments and joints of the legs. It is apana-vayu that enslaves this area in our body.

So, why is it important for both partners to practice asanas regularly for a more or less long period before conceiving a child? Voluntary austerities that we undergo in the classroom, and the tapas that is developed as a result, are an effective and affordable tool for most people to work with karmic defilements. Unfortunately, the rhythm of life in which we are forced to live does not mean satisfaction and peace of mind. The system that surrounds us often deliberately provokes us to the most rude drains of energy. First of all, these states include such negative manifestations of the muladhara chakra (the very first, root chakra) as anger, irritability, anger, envy, aggression. It is such a frequent manifestation of these states, caused by some trifle from our daily life in megacities, that provokes the appearance of spots of black energy in our aura - karmic pollution. We will certainly have to work off these pollutions in the future through our own health and well-being, and will also affect the well-being of our descendants. S. N. Lazarev writes that in modern Western society the problem of infertility is so acute, in particular, due to the fact that there are a lot of potential future parents who live an ordinary social life with all its rules and concepts and do not engage in self-development. black energy spots. As a result, the soul of the child cannot break through these barriers. Only souls from the same dark worlds can interact with such energies. If just such a soul incarnates in a couple, the life of this family will be really difficult and dramatic. Therefore, it will be much more blissful and adequate to make efforts to yourself and change your own energy and karma.

Retreat

Most of us find it very difficult to find the motivation or strength to practice Yoga in our daily lives. Our dodgy mind comes up with a lot of different excuses in order to postpone the practice until tomorrow. However, as the great yogi Milarepa said, “If you put off your practice until tomorrow, you may suddenly find that life has slipped away.” In order to find and maintain this very motivation, we lack the experience of active immersion in practice. This is where the retreat helps.

A retreat is a temporary seclusion of a person, a departure from the usual life in society and the dedication of most of the time to various self-improvement practices. It is best to choose for such an event some place far from the city, in nature. For beginners, a group retreat is a great option. This is an association with like-minded people for a certain time and the joint implementation of the practices of hatha yoga, pranayama, various types of concentration, mantropenia, etc. Why will this option be effective in the first stages of development? Usually it is very difficult for us to force ourselves to do something on our own, and if we still succeed, the threshold of our patience in practice turns out to be too low. As soon as the thought comes: “That’s it, I can’t take it anymore,” we retreat. However, each of those who do the practice in a group will overcome their own limits, seeing that the other participants do not stop putting effort on themselves. Thus, where our mind would long ago have said, “That's enough for today,” we can actually go much further than our own ideas. We can achieve much more significant results. Like-minded people always motivate each other to overcome their own limitations.

For experienced practitioners, the option of an individual retreat may also be suitable. In order to force yourself to follow the planned program of practices every day, you need a really large supply of tapas. Even more gratitude is needed from people whose lives have improved qualitatively thanks to your personal example and the dedication of energy for the benefit and development of the world around.

Usually, both our mind and our ego, deprived of everyday comforts and pleasures, find it very difficult to endure going through a retreat. But this is precisely the best result of such events. Retreats make us grow above ourselves, challenge our selfishness. Retreats show that we can achieve much more than we used to think if we put in the effort. In addition, such a concentration of self-development practices over a certain period of time (3 days, 10 days, a month, etc.) significantly increases the results, burns negative karma, inspires further studies, and improves the quality of life for you and your loved ones. Consequently, the chance to attract a bright soul into your family, who also wants to develop among like-minded people, increases.

The arrival in the family of a child who is attuned with his parents to the same worldview and tasks is one of the highest forms of good. Such a child will allow you to develop, and will not create problems, taking away energy and strength. And also he will be provided with an excellent role model and a start for his own spiritual development.

The invitation of the soul to the family.

Few people know or think about the fact that now there is a great competition between souls from high worlds for the right to be born in this world for self-improvement. Accordingly, such souls are looking for a suitable family. Embodiment in such a family will allow them to maximize the task for which they come into this world - self-development and service. Therefore, when you are ready to invite such a soul, you also need to do this as consciously and respectfully as possible.

Very valuable is the opportunity to visit special places of power and raise in them an appeal to the higher spheres of existence, to express your invitation to the soul that is karmically connected with you. The best option are places saturated with especially powerful female energy of great mothers. For example, Lumbini (Nepal), where Queen Maha Maya painlessly gave birth to the Great Teacher Buddha Shakyamuni in a park under a large tree. Traditions say that the gods themselves descended from heaven and carried the queen and her son to the sacred lake Manasarovar (Tibet) to wash the body of the Buddha. This lake also has a special energy; It is no coincidence that it is called the lake of living water. It is believed that a woman who touches its magical waters will be able to bring into this world an extremely high soul - a bodhisattva. In addition, Manasarovar is the abode of Parvati, the wife of the great god Shiva, the Mother of all things.

You can also use various spiritual practices (meditations, mantras) to express an invitation to the soul to come to your family. Of course, the birth of children is karmically conditioned, so this event will occur not earlier and not later than the due time. However, while working on themselves, parents work with their own karma and obscurations, facilitating the path of the soul that is destined to come to them.

“In October 2015, my husband and I took part with the site club. It is known that the Noble One of the world recommended to the followers of his Teaching to visit 4 places connected with the main milestones of his Path on this planet: the place of his birth (Lumbini), the place of his Enlightenment (Bodhgaya), the place of the first turning of the Wheel of Dharma (Sarnath), the place of going to parinirvana (Kushinagar). It was in Lumbini, which today is already the territory of Nepal, in a park under a large sprawling tree that Queen Maha Maya brought Prince Siddhartha into this world. This tree is revered by all locals and pilgrims from different countries. In this place of Power, I invited a soul to our family who would like to incarnate in the world of people for their own development and the development of the surrounding world. Apparently, thanks to the perfect pilgrimage and the power of this place, filled with the Universal maternal energy, karmic connections were built quite quickly. And so next year, on the next pilgrimage to the beautiful mountainous Tibet, I went already in the seventh month of pregnancy.
Alexandra Shtukaturova, yoga teacher, mother of Leonid.

“About a year before conception, my husband and I met A. V. Trekhlebova, after which we switched to vegetarianism and began to practice yoga. We went on a pilgrimage tour, attended Olga Verba's seminar, after which it became clear where and how we would give birth. And after I completed Olga Verba's perinatal yoga course, our intentions only strengthened. There was a strong faith with their own strength, in the help of a midwife and divine forces.
Julia Trofimovich, teacher of perinatal yoga and aqua yoga, mother of Daryana.

“Not so long ago I gained an incredibly important experience - the experience of bringing a new soul into this world! When I became pregnant, it turned out that I unconsciously began to prepare for this event several years before its onset. Interestingly, from the moment I wanted to become a mother, and to be honest, the grandmother of a large number of grandchildren, yoga and spiritual development in general began to appear in my life. And when pregnancy came, it became clear why many competent people believe that the key to a successful pregnancy and childbirth is the preparation of the body for conception, that is, long before the pregnancy itself. While practicing yoga, I regularly did various cleansing procedures: shatkarmas and kriyas, for example, netti, shankhaprakshalana, kunjala, nauli, agnisara kriya, fasted, observed brahmacharya. In addition, I practiced asanas, went to retreats, tried to spend as much time as possible in clean, energetically strong places. All this helped to sort out oneself, bring the body to a clean state and, of course, give birth easily.”
Varvara Gagarina, yoga teacher, mother of Yuri.

How much sublime and enthusiastic human consciousness puts into the concept of spiritual development. And with what rapture can a person indulge in dreams in the heights of the spirit...

But, as a rule, the harsh truth of life is much more capacious and “mundane”. She does not divide into dual good - bad, good - evil, considering them holistically, as a valuable experience.

Almost always behind the search for spiritual development lie unresolved problems of a personal nature.: health, psycho-emotional problems in the family, rupture of relationships, elementary misunderstanding and differences in worldview, values, life quests. This is especially “noticeable” in love disappointments, which act as a kind of catalyst for change.

THE FIRST CIRCLE OF SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

The best spiritual development is when you create a space of Love-Wisdom in your closest environment - the first circle: beloved / beloved and.

Otherwise, the flight to freedom is only an even greater slavery of the soul, fettered by the unwillingness of the personality to change and transform relations in the first and main circle of your life connections.

Without realizing what you need to learn from close communication with your own parents, and later with your children, you can hardly really develop fully in the spirit.

In this case, classifying yourself as a “highly spiritual” or “advanced” aspirant, in practice you are only cherishing, nurturing your own inflated ego or “not-I”, personality.

“And how deftly the sensitivity bitch can pray for a piece of the spirit when she is denied a piece of the body” - Friedrich Nietzsche.

Thus, it turns out that personal problems are a mechanism, a trigger for launching a wave of spiritual quest.

And here the personality "justifies" its real purpose - by trial and error, called the capacious concept of EXPERIENCE, it makes a breakthrough to the spirit through the opening of the shutters of the soul.

So feelings and emotions sweep away the conventions of mental programs that include certain expectations, so that the crucible of life can temper the blade of personality, sharpening its sensitive blade.

And it's time to remember the wonderful lines of Boris Pasternak:

Like thin points
Don't step right away
So on the verge of years and troubles
The path to the sun is difficult ...

These words of the Nobel laureate can be considered in relation to any spiritual development, because the Sun is a symbol of the Spirit.

As Ra said, in the Law of One, a person is a combination of mind / body / spirit, therefore, thin points, by analogy, are our mind, and the edges of years and troubles are our body.

In other words, until you harness your mind as a relay of ego desires, the body will suffer and union with the spirit will always be incomplete.

Also, if you do not learn to listen to your body without developing straight-knowledge and purposefully not using the mind, there will always be dissonance in sensations and self-perception. Hence the importance of following bodily sensations through the representational systems or sense organs and their development or evolution.

ABOUT THE DIFFERENCES OF SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT FROM PERSONAL GROWTH

The main difference between spiritual development and personal growth is the ultimate goal..

In the first case, this gradual and purposeful integration with soul and spirit through intelligent management and control, through personal experience.

Self-development is the rise of vibrations to a higher level, the refinement of all feelings and physical conductors - the centers, channels of the body, the nervous system and its sensory "sensors" - sensations and perceptions.

During the origin of life on Earth, in order to maintain a close connection with the planet, it was necessary, on the contrary, to lower one's own vibrational level, or, in other words, to ground oneself. Now, due to the fact that the Earth increases its vibrational activity, passing into, there is a need for you and me to tune in and follow its rhythm.

This is the key task of spiritual development, which allows you to synchronize all energy flows and reach a qualitatively new level of your own growth and improvement.

Self improvement- this is personal improvement in the direction of improving the quality of life, conscious control and management of its processes, with an understanding of one's role and.

Self-improvement is a conscious effort to coordinate the needs of the individual and the preferences of the soul, as well as the disclosure of unlimited potential in the creative implementation of one's destiny and following the call of a heart filled with love.

TOOLS FOR PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH

There are different interpretations in the description of tools that ensure progress on the path of self-development, spiritual development and transformation of the individual. Among this diversity there are generally recognized and controversial, major and minor, important and necessary spiritual links:

We talked about the fact that for the self-development of a person, it is very important to get rid of the stereotyped standards of thinking. Let's deal with patterns about human spirituality. How do we usually evaluate our spirituality or another person: I, a highly spiritual person, because I regularly go to church, live according to the laws of God, give alms, help the destitute, I don’t take someone else’s, I don’t envy anyone. Why do I have so many troubles in my life, I don’t have enough money, my family doesn’t get along, no one understands me and thanks me for giving all of myself to them, to my relatives and friends, and they are all not happy. Poor me, I'm not lucky in life, I'll go to church, ask God for help. This is how we think, because from childhood we were taught that we need to live according to the laws of God, but we were not taught how to understand them. In Soviet times, we grew up under the slogan “Think about the Motherland first, and then about yourself”, if you are a good student, after class go and help a classmate who does not want to study and therefore gets deuces, but you have to help him get on the right path . It was the same in production. After the restructuring, it got even worse. The old system was broken, but the new one was not built. People were confused, they lost the ground under their feet. It was necessary to change their worldview in order to live in new conditions. Someone succeeded, and he found his place in a new life, which is another question, but someone was left with nothing. “How can I, with a higher education, go to the dishwasher! Never! I'd rather starve, let everyone be ashamed. It was the same. How to assess the spirituality of a person in the new conditions? All and sundry went to church. The bandits, after another sortie, will go to the priest, confess, they will give money for charity, God will forgive them. And they live on, calm and confident that they are always right. But you know what is most interesting, they will live without problems until they have a feeling of guilt for their actions or pity for those whom they have harmed in one way or another, or envy of their own comrade-in-arms. This is just an example of the law of attraction. As I think, so I live. The laws of the universe are immutable.

Now let's talk about the laws of God. If each individual person lived according to these laws, a heavenly life would come on earth. There would be no wars, no hatred, no enmity. Can you imagine such a life? Would you like to live in such a world? I have been dreaming about this since early childhood and have tried to live according to these laws all my life, though my interpretation is different from the church one.

Let's go in order.

The First Commandment of the Old Testament reads: I am the Lord thy God, and there are no other gods but Me." Yes, there is only one God. But there are different religions and you just need to learn to accept the right of every people to choose their religion. If a person has a different faith or he thinks and lives according to a different scenario, this does not mean that he is an enemy and you need to hate him, try to impose your life principles and your style of thinking on him. A highly spiritual person realizes this simple truth and his soul is filled with love for all things. God lives in the soul of every person.

The second commandment Do not create for yourself an idol and no image; do not worship them and do not serve them." It is important to understand here that there is nothing wrong with believing in all sorts of talismans, predictions and fortune-telling. This does not contradict the belief in one God. Everyone is free to choose what to believe. Now no one doubts that there are clairvoyants, psychics, healers who really have these abilities, and all this is from God. Ascended masters, archangels, guardian angels and other Higher powers are given to man by God. Call on them for help in difficult times with faith and love, and they will help you. This is true. I went through it. Do not create an idol for yourself - this is a warning that a person would not make money or another earthly passion his god and worship them, forgetting that he is a spiritual being. The right to live a rich and happy life is given to all of us at birth, and to wish to be rich and move towards our goal consciously, benefiting the world, not a sin, but a blessing.

The third commandment Do not take the name of the Lord God in vain."

This commandment, in my opinion, says that it is not necessary to mention the name of the Lord God without love and respect.

The fourth commandment "Remember the Sabbath day and respect it: work for six days, go about your business, and devote the seventh day, on Saturday, to the Lord your God."

This commandment reminds a person to give rest to himself and his body. This can be any day of the week, for example, when the day off at work. On this day, you need to give yourself the opportunity to feel your divine beginning, pamper yourself, devote this day to yourself, your loved ones, relax and do only what your heart desires. By this you will please God in yourself and serve the Lord your God.

These four commandments are dedicated to serving God.

Whether a person himself believes or not in the existence of God, his life passes according to a scenario determined by him, chosen from the space of options available to realize the goals with which his soul came into this world. There are many options for implementation, but since God gave a person freedom of choice, life does not always work out in the best way. Spiritual self-development helps a person determine his path in life. A person begins to hear the quiet whisper of his soul, rebuilds his thinking in accordance with the laws of the Universe, and his life begins to change for the better. This path to yourself is long, sometimes painful, but the feeling of joy that you get after each step taken along the path of self-development cannot be described in words, this is a state of feeling of happiness when you want to sing and dance for no reason, to share with everyone your overflowing energy, and love the whole world. At such moments, God pours out his grace on you and rejoices with you. We are all born for happiness, you just need to work on the mistakes, if something in life did not work out the way you wanted, and change your attitude towards yourself and the world around you. For this you need:

  1. Allow yourself to be yourself and allow others to be different.
  2. Believe in your abilities and don't let anyone manipulate you.
  3. Get rid of guilt.
  4. Focus on the positive things in life.
  5. Don't blame anyone for your problems.
  6. Take responsibility for making your own decisions.
  7. To live consciously every moment of your life, i.e. Not yesterday and not tomorrow, but now. Your thoughts in the present moment shape the events that will happen to you in the future. Don't forget about the law of attraction.
  8. Realize one simple truth - you do not owe anything to anyone and no one owes you anything. Every person has to live their own life. It is not necessary, even out of great love, to take on the problems of another and make decisions for him. It doesn't benefit you or the caregiver.

Now on the Internet there are many trainings and seminars on the topic of self-development, but do not rush to make a decision and run to the first paid training that comes across. Remember, no one will help you until you are ready to make changes in your life. To get started, read, for example, Vadim Zeland's book Reality Transurfing and Joseph Murphy's book Spiritual Awakening to New Life. If after that you feel a surge of energy and a desire to move further along the path of spiritual and personal self-development, then go ahead.

In the next article we will talk about the commandments, the non-observance of which is considered a mortal sin. See you next time.

Self improvement is a conscious process of changing a person, aimed at achieving harmony of soul and body. This is a constant work on oneself throughout one's conscious life.

Today I will tell you things that you may not understand or realize immediately. It will be pretty tough and hard, but it's true. You may not want to believe it and raise your curtain, or maybe even consider me crazy, but I still have to do it ...

In fact, the vast majority of people who are interested in self-improvement and self-development are doing complete crap. All these articles, books, videos, theories and practices about self-improvement are absolute bullshit.

Man is a self-sufficient being. In reality, we do not have any need to consume food and water, our perfect body and ideal bio-organism produces everything that it needs on its own. Our body is capable of self-regeneration of tissues and organs, which has been proven by scientists. We do not have any need for material vehicles (cars, trains, etc.), because a person can move his body in space, materializing it at the desired point. This is our innate natural mechanism. We do not have any need for the Internet, Television, mass media, Skype and other means of communication and communication, because transmitting and receiving any information about anything from the general field without words and gestures is also our natural innate mechanism. Moreover, the quality of this information is much more accurate and significant than anything that can be learned from human-made substitutes.

All these are the original innate and, alas, human functions that have degraded in humanity, which were hidden from people. They were replaced by the so-called "dummy". People have forgotten who they are. We have degraded, we have all been duped and fooled, we have been lied to all this time.

All concepts are wrong. Everything that happens around is a blatant lie.

In order for self-development and self-improvement to begin, you first need to stop the degradation process, go through the necessary procedures for purifying the mind and body in order to return to your “starting point” and, only with a pure mind and body, you can begin the process of self-development.

What do I call the process of degradation?

The process of degradation is all that is happening to you now. You are in the "System", you are not free and you have no choice. The film "The Matrix" is something that is not happening somewhere out there, in fantasy, but right now in our present reality. You were deceived from the very beginning, you were told that in order to live you need to eat food and drink water. You were told that you are imperfect and prone to disease, so you must be treated and take drugs that actually destroy your body and make it even more sick. You were told that you need to be obedient, calm, “keep your head down”. Religions were invented for you to make it easier to control the crowds (“Pray, ask, do not grumble, humble yourself ...”).

All this for only one purpose - to make you unfree.

It is necessary to negotiate with free, perfect people, they cannot be controlled and manipulated, they see through the whole truth. Sistema doesn't need free people. For the "System" you need obedient, unified elements that are easy to manage. And how to do it? Very simply, you need to make them believe that they are helpless, in need of guidance, dependent on everything and sinful.

The easiest way was to turn people into consumers. Yes, that's how we turned from creators and creators into consumers. We have become addicted to food. If anyone does not know, food is the most powerful drug in the world, it is so powerful that all the chemical drugs you know will seem "baby talk" compared to it. The fear of living without food is now equated with death.

Information is also one of the levers of manipulation. You have been forced to consume information. Watching TV endlessly, surfing the Internet, listening, reading and memorizing everything. Why, don't you guess?

Information is needed in order to constantly zombify you, to keep you in a state close to the unconscious. Through all the information pouring in, you are secretly told what to do, how to behave, where to go, how to live.

Do you think your thoughts, goals, ideas, desires are YOURS? All this is forced. And somewhere in the depths of your soul, you understand what I am talking about now, because you know that it is so, but it is very difficult for your soul to reach out to the zombie mind.

All this is a global game in which you are figures. The figurine cannot look at the game from above, because it is in the game itself and sees only the plane. Wherever she is moved, there she will go. What role is assigned to her, this is how she will play. And in order to see everything that is actually happening, you need to be a player who sees the game from above, i.e. is out of play.

And in order to be out of the game, you need to shake off the delusion, cleanse yourself of all this garbage and return to your original natural state, which I mentioned above. Only then will self-improvement begin.

The problem is exacerbated by society, which drags even those who are desperately trying to get out into this swamp. You see, if you put one fresh cucumber in a jar of pickles, sooner or later it will also become salty.

But there are people in the world who managed to escape from The Matrix. There are few of them and their “exit” lasted a very long time, layer by layer, by throwing off all this lies and husks imposed on us.

All people want to know their purpose, but being in the "System", you will have only one purpose - the one that will be beneficial to the "System". You can only know your true purpose when you are free. The universe will tell you what to do, but you may not like it, because it will require serving your talents and abilities for the benefit of other people, and this is only possible if you are capable of "unconditional love."

Professional self-improvement

Another "bullshit". Your professional skills can only develop to the stage to which you are allowed, just enough to perform the necessary actions in the "System". As soon as you want to develop a little more, you will immediately “turn off the tap”.

Now the topic of personal growth and self-development is extremely fashionable. Everyone talks about the development of intellectual and physical abilities.

What kind of development are we talking about? The only thing we really need is to remember who we really are!

What is offered to you? And another surrogate is offered to divert your attention from essential things to useless and petty ones.

Spiritual self-improvement

In the modern world, the concept of spiritual self-improvement is greatly distorted. As I said, all concepts are wrong. Real genuine knowledge of the essence of things and its nature lies on the surface. The Higher Mind is trying every day to break through to us and shows the Signs, but we are not able to see them, because our mind is closed.

People rely on God: “God will help”, “We must ask God”, “We must pray to God”. This is nothing more than the removal of responsibility for your life and shifting it to the Higher powers. Spirituality is not faith in God. All religions of the world have nothing to do with spiritual self-improvement. All religions are the greatest deceit, the main idea of which is to control the masses of people. With the help of religion, a person can be made into an obedient slave who will pray, follow the rules, be submissive, and if someone does not share his interests, attack those who disagree and accuse him of blasphemy. It is still the same ideal "System" with its protection from people's desire for freedom and attack to keep all the slaves in the pack.

Truth is not where everyone is looking for it.

Truth is not where everyone is looking for it. Spiritual development is a daily work on oneself. This is an hourly hard work in an attempt to "remember yourself." This is the destruction of your ego, all concepts and stereotypes, fear of death and phobias. This is a war for your freedom not only with society, but also with yourself. And this is by no means an easy and idle process. It is a daily pain, both physical and mental. Every minute struggle with their low imposed desires. And this is a very difficult path ... The path to your freedom!

It seems to be a simple question, but the answer to it will differ depending both on the spiritual school of the respondent and on his spiritual level. But in the fact that real spiritual development will be hindered, all the teachings known to me agree with this.

Let's turn to the facts. All the great teachings of spiritual development experienced a period of severe persecution of their followers. Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity - the stories of their persecution by the authorities of the countries in which these teachings were spread are well known.

Even if one person decides to embark on the path of spiritual self-improvement, the world around him will interfere in every possible way. With this, many faced. And when such a large number of people aspire to spiritual perfection, as it was during the formation of these spiritual teachings, then the hindrances acquired a global character.

Meditation Falun Gong. Spiritual self-improvement

Spiritual cultivation and persecution

When they tried to destroy Christianity in the Roman Empire, the Romans did not just kill all identified Christians, but gave them a choice. For a Christian to avoid death, it was enough to sacrifice to an idol. Thus he renounced his faith.

This is something more than the method of ideological struggle. After all, what is spiritual self-improvement if not the understanding of higher spiritual principles? But understanding alone is not enough, they must also be confirmed - i.e. act in accordance with them.

Therefore, in a period of repression and great pressure from outside, it is much easier to raise one's spiritual level than by taking Christianity as an example, when it became the state religion in Rome and being a Christian became not only safe, but also highly desirable.

As for the situation with Falun Gong, it has been going on in China since 1999. In many ways, the situation there is similar to the persecution of Christians in Rome - so in order to get out of prison, the practitioner must agree to "transformation". But it is much worse than what was required of the first Christians. It includes not only renouncing one's spiritual beliefs, but also helping to "transform" other incarcerated Falun Gong practitioners.

One Jennifer Zeng, who agreed to "transformation" and wrote a book about it ("A Witness's Story"), said that after she renounced, she was forced to participate in the torture of practitioners who refused to undergo transformation.

So, although external hindrances in spiritual self-improvement can have a positive role, but the forces that cause them tend to do exactly the opposite. They want to break the will in order to destroy the very possibility of spiritual perfection. In religions, these forces are usually called evil.
