Moreover, a wedding dress can be classic or unique, tailored to order and introducing Gzhel elements into the product. If the bride preferred a folk style with traditional Gzhel embroidery, then the groom should wear either a shirt and trousers, or a classic suit with a stylized tie or bow tie.

The young man has a much smaller choice of wedding clothes than the bride, but there are always alternative options. Otherwise, rent an ordinary restaurant and take care of its decor. WITH colors everything is clear - Gzhel implies the use of white, blue and light blue colors. Wedding photo session in Russian in Gzhel style

For a photo shoot of the bride and groom who have chosen for their wedding image Gzhel style, you will only need a beautiful winter or summer landscape, because their unusual, stylish appearance does not require additional attributes. However, you can find a more interesting place for wedding photography. In some cities there are specialized institutions representing national culture. They will be an ideal solution for competitions (for example, the ransom of the bride) and photo shoots.

More than a year ago, a young girl Tatyana contacted me. She had an unusual request: she presented her wedding dress with a white and blue ornament in the style "Gzhel"- and she wanted a very modern incarnation of this traditional Russian theme. This is how one of my favorite dresses created within the walls of the fashion house appeared. Nina Ruchkina. I will tell you the story of its creation and share the five most important components of a magical wedding.

Secret #1: Find True Love

Tatyana herself lives in Singapore, and her future husband Dimitri is a Cypriot with Russian roots. He long ago defined for himself the image future wife, and, having met the girl of his dreams, he did not stand on ceremony for a long time: after three months of dating he proposed to her. But he got a sharp no, since Tatiana was going to study in Sweden.

“Somehow I didn’t seriously say that I could think about our joint plans if we move to Asia. In general, I expected the answer “no”, but after a couple of months my man came and said that we could move to Singapore - for me, and he already has a job there. With one condition: I will be his wife,” says the bride.

She agreed.

Secret number 2: find an unusual and nice idea weddings

Themed weddings with onsite registration are the most beautiful, magical, amazing. The wedding of our heroes was supposed to take place in Cyprus, so Tatyana chose the Gzhel style:

“Greek lands attract with their simplicity, soulfulness and magical combination of white and blue colors. I decided not to deviate from the traditions built up over the centuries, but to add a special Russian chic to them, which we all know as Gzhel.

The bride herself was engaged in the concept and design, literally every little thing was thought out:

Secret #3: Come up with a dream and don't settle for less

Tatyana presented her dress in every detail and was looking for someone who could make her dream come true:

“I have been looking for a designer for quite some time. I made sketches, but no one gave me confidence that I would get what I want to see. Here, an extraordinary approach was clearly needed.I knew that this design of the dress - short in front and with a long train - would win my husband's heart. I was looking for a modern solution that embodies youth, grace, sexuality"

Secret number 4: find someone who will make the dream come true

When Tanya turned to me, I was sincerely delighted. is one of our specialties.

Tatyana lived in Singapore, and it was assumed that we would only meet a couple of times in the process of making the dress. We discussed technical issues: style, cut, texture of the fabric, carefully selected fragments of the painting, agreed on color, saturation. The work went very easily, I easily managed to "read" Tanya's thoughts and materialize them.

When our beautiful princess dressed in a ready-made outfit, everyone in the workshop froze. Tanya, like a porcelain doll from a Russian fairy tale, stood in the center of the waiting room - and we couldn't take our eyes off her!

“The result exceeded my expectations. The corset didn't have any laces, but it fit me perfectly, the belt was made of blue velvet, the train was the perfect length, the dress was comfortable to move in and it looked graceful."

This moment in my work is one of the most exciting and responsible. When I see the eyes of my clients shine with joy, and I can admit that the work is done perfectly, I am happy.

Secret #5: Gather People Who Make You Happy

A wedding ceremony is a very personal event for those closest to me, and it was unexpected for me to receive an invitation, although I knew that guests would come from 11 countries. The less time left before the event, the more interesting details about the bride and groom I learned, and the more friendly our relationship became.

I can say from the bottom of my heart that this celebration is one of the brightest, most joyful and sincere. The wedding turned out really fabulous!

When all the guests gathered on the pier, it seemed to me that I was the heroine of a movie. Around the imperturbable, briollined men in expensive suits next to them are very beautiful, elegant women.

Our Tatyana appeared, unrealistically beautiful and infinitely happy.

Time seemed to have stopped ... There was tenderness spilled in the air.

Sergei proposed to me in September - on my birthday. I didn’t want to play a wedding in the fall or early spring, the weather at this time is unpredictable, mostly it’s always cloudy and it often rains, and before the onset of heat it was necessary to wait more than six months, so we stopped in the winter, and subsequently did not regret at all.

Choice of wedding style

In terms of the theme of the wedding, my husband had only one preference - a combination of the three colors of his favorite team: blue, white, light blue and no bias towards the western or East style, all only in Russian traditions! For me, it was important that everything was beautiful, and a specific theme could be traced, and not just a combination of three colors. And already after the proposal, a work colleague gave me a ceramic figurine - a cat, painted in the Gzhel style. The question of the theme of the wedding was decided by itself - here is a combination of blue-white-blue colors, and a focus on Russian folk art, and an excellent color scheme for a winter wedding.

Search for an institution

Finding a place was not easy. We traveled all over the city, all over the city. The Silk Road restaurant was opened not far from our house, but there was little information about it on the Internet, so we went there last and chose it. He did not disappoint us. Everything was great. Service at the highest level. The food is very tasty. A big plus was the presence of a hotel with good, clean rooms, where non-resident guests could stay.

Wedding preparations

There were a lot of ideas for organizing a wedding, but we decided on one thing from the very beginning - the wedding will be for guests. Of course the main actors we will be, but everything should be built in such a way that guests have fun and relax, and are also interested entertainment program, and not just drank and ate, as is often the case.

Advice
Make a wedding not only for yourself, but also for guests, it is very important to think about their comfort.

We decided to take over the preparation for the wedding completely, since this is only our day, and only we know how the first best day in our family life should look like.
In preparation for the wedding, they faced the only problem - the distance. We have been living in Rostov-on-Don for four years now, but we decided to play the wedding in Voronezh, in the city where I have lived almost all my life, my parents live there. In addition, Voronezh is geographically located in a more advantageous position for our guests who came from all over the European part of Russia - from the Crimea to the Urals. Therefore, everything had to be solved at a distance through the phone and the Internet. Only twice we managed to come to Voronezh to see everything with our own eyes, meet people and sign contracts.
Since there was little time for preparation, and distance interfered, we completely trusted our specialists: the presenter, photographer and videographer, who turned out to be professionals with a capital letter and worked for 5 points!
It was difficult to find a wedding decor studio - a hall and exit registration designer in our style. Few people wanted to take on this topic, but nevertheless we found a wonderful studio "KIRA", which specially developed our winter Gzhel fairy tale for us.
All Wedding accessories were made in the Gzhel style.

Wedding invitations were also made in the Gzhel style.

Walk

Due to the January cold, it was not possible to visit as many places as we would like. We took pictures in the lobby and on the observation deck of the Versailles Hotel.

What Russian wedding can do without horses? Therefore, the second point of our route was the private horseshoe stable in the village of Podgornoye.

Despite the terrible cold, the photos turned out amazing, for which special thanks to our photographer Alexander Penkin. From the walk there were only positive impressions.

Advice
If you are planning a walk and a photo shoot before the banquet, think about where the guests will be at this time and how to entertain them. Most importantly, the fun never ends!

Decoration of the hall and exit registration area

The design caused us concern, since everything was sewn to order for us, everything was created from scratch for our wedding. We did not have the opportunity to see how the hall and the place of the ceremony would look like in the end. We completely trusted the designer, which we have never regretted. We breathed a sigh of relief as soon as we crossed the threshold of the restaurant!

Marriage registration

A very exciting moment when only the people closest to us are looking at us at the same time: parents, relatives, friends. You can hardly restrain yourself from crying at the moment when your mother is crying from happiness ...

A wedding dance

We chose the waltz "My gentle and gentle beast." The dance was learned in just three days, it was staged by my friend, a choreographer in Rostov-on-Don. We rehearsed only once - two days before the wedding, we arrived at the restaurant and practiced the dance in an empty hall. We were very worried that we would forget, stumble, or even not be able to dance with a dress (I danced in a dress for the first time already at the wedding itself).
